We loved this place! It was lovely. The hotel was run by a family that was very sweet, helpful, and kind. They made our stay perfect. Breakfast was good and the rooms really nice. It was easy to walk to skiing, shopping, and restaurants from this place.

Our family had a fantastic 4 night stay at the first class Hotel Miklic in beautiful Kranjska Gora. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished, the beds very comfortable. Breakfast included a delicious array of local foods. The hotel is owned and run by a local family, and all the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay again on a future trip.

I don’t leave reviews but this was one of the best places we have stayed. Besides Kranjska Gora being perfect, breakfast was accommodating to various cultures and the staff were so friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations from where to eat to places to go around Kranjska Gora, Austria and Italy. We will definitely be returning.

A Great Little Find!
This is a wonderful little hotel in Kranjska Gora. My wife and I were traveling through Slovenia on vacation/holiday and looking to stay in the general area of Bled but avoid the crowds and potentially higher expense. This was a great find. The proprietors were very friendly and helpful. They provided abundant information and suggestions about the area. They gave us a room that was comfortable and had a good view. The breakfast was excellent - a broad buffet selection with additional kitchen-cooked items (eggs, etc.). It was delicious and very filling and satisfying. The hotel was quiet, clean and well-maintained. It appeared that ski season ended one or two weeks prior and the hotel was not crowded. We struck up friendly conversations with other guests and got additional perspectives for touring. As we were leaving to head south, we got the heads-up from the proprietors that the mountain pass that we intended to travel was closed because of a recent snowstorm. They gave us alternate suggestions plus a map with good directions. They went above and beyond. We HIGHLY recommend Garni Hotel Miklic. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. Thank you, proprietors for the hospitality!

We stayed at Garni Hotel Miklic for one night when in Kranjska Gora as part of a tour around Slovenia. The room was spacious and very nice and we enjoyed the breakfast. We would have loved to have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful time in Kranjska Gora and in particular in Garni Hotel Miklic. A literal slice of heaven. Sadly we were only passing through on our way to a wedding in Italy, but after the way we were treated at this place, we are currently planning a full vacation here. We were greeted by the kindest gentleman at the front, and every single person was so kind and helpful. We got upgraded to a huge suite with two bedrooms and a whole living room because we were traveling with a baby and there was some construction towards the front and they didn't want the noise to wake the baby. They also told us we could leave the car parked there while we went on a little hike after checking out. I was literally speechless at how thoughtful and kind these people were. The place was massive and so charming. The view from all three balconies was straight out of a fairytale. The big red flowers in the window boxes with the mountain backdrop live in my memories, as does the splendid breakfast with fresh juices and cheese, locally made yoghurt, and more kinds of food than I could even try. The area is also beautiful for walking with lots of charming little shops and restaurants, and some beautiful hikes nearby. People can really make or break a vacation experience, and in this case, the people are the main reason we would do a whole vacation here. I cannot imagine a more perfect place. We cannot wait to come back.

Beautiful hotel in Kranjska Gora
Lovely alpine style hotel in the town of Kranjska Gora. Few mins walk to all of the local area including ski area, restaurants, and other amenities. All felt very safe even at night. Room was spacious and comfy with a balcony view overlooking the surrounding mountains. Bed was lovely and everything was nice and clean. Boot room at the bottom of the hotel to keep ski gear during the season including heated boot rack. Man who checked us in, didn't get his name, was super helpful and friendly. Arranged a sauna at the hotel for 20 euro which was relaxing. Would recommend.

Excellent hotel
We chose this hotel from the great reviews and we were not disappointed, The location was perfect, 5 minutes to get to the shops and restaurants, and only a couple of minutes from the ski slopes. Being able to ski to the bottom and walk back to the hotel in a matter of minutes, is a real bonus. The rooms were very clean and extremely comfortable, and the views were amazing. All the staff at this family run hotel were friendly and could not have been more helpful, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Excellent choice in Kranjska Gora
I would recommend Hotel Miklic without hesitation. It was comfortable, very clean, and everyone we spoke to at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Best breakfast during our entire 3-week stay in Slovenia. Very close (5 minutes walk) to everything in town while also being set back in a quieter area.
