The charming coastal town of Coco Beach (Playas del Coco) is known for its bars, restaurants and picturesque stretches of sand. The town of Coco Beach lies on the North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, 23 miles (37 kilometres) west of Liberia. A scenic coastal drive from Liberia should take a little over 1 hour. Panama Beach and Hermosa Bay Beach can be found just north of the small oceanfront town. Liberia International Airport is just 30 minutes away by car.
