"This is a beautiful, authentic hotel in a fantastic location, and I have no complaints, but I would recommend avoiding room #11 IF you prefer absolute privacy and quietness (you may have people sitting right outside of your window, happily chatting away, and a pipe that channels some of the upstairs wastewater runs right through your room). :) We traveled in a midsize SUV and parking was a challenge - with a larger car, you should avoid that area of the city to begin with, but if you are willing to walk a little bit, there are plenty of public parking garages, with at least one really large one on the other side of the river (Plaza de Cuba). It is also in a very close proximity of two big shopping centres and a variety of restaurants, grill bars and coffee and snacks places Our room was on the first floor, cleaned every morning. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed a plentiful breakfast. We found it a good value for our money."
