Great hotel in a great location
I really liked this hotel. In an excellent location in the centre of town and opposite the train station. Also had an entrance into the local library which for me was a real bonus. The room was a good size. Very comfortable bed with a good choice of different pillows. Excellent breakfast with a good choice of items. My only criticism here was the coffee being served in glasses with no handles meaning hot to handle. Hotel decor was excellent. Worth taking the stairs instead of the lift for a quick art trip around the world! All in all an excellent hotel. Would definitely stay again if I am back in Kolding.

Lovely hotel opposite the train station and very close to the attractions, cafes and restaurants. It is a short walk to the castle, lake, shops, town, etc, which makes this a perfect location. The room was great, shower wonderful and the bed was super comfortable. I liked the huge windows, the desk space and the comfy chair. Everywhere was modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of good quality options. I wasn't keen on the QR code booking breakfast/check out systen, as this didn't really work, but this is a minor issue. I certainly recommend this hotel.

The staff had no clue how to find my Expedia booking. I tried to help by giving my info and the woman was rude. Very surprising for it being Denmark. I also had a danish speaker with me and the woman was rude to her as well. The staff can use a little more training on how to handle guess.
