Beautiful property. Our room felt like we were near the canopy of the rain forest. Private and just natural - felt like glamping. The room was very comfortable and with modern amenities yet tucked in a rainforest. Would definitely recommend ( note: they have different levels of accommodations so please check).

My stay at the Rainforest Retreat in Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand, was a truly memorable experience. Wow!!!! What a beautiful accommodation!!!! It felt like you really were in a rainforest with all the lush plants and trees around. Our unit was a bit small, but very, very nice. We did not have a freezer in our small refrigerator, but Reception gladly froze our ice packs for us. It’s an accommodation not to be missed!!!!!!
