The most adorable thing about Hotel Conti is its retro feel: the 90s decor, the hefty room keys that you leave at the front desk, the tiny Euro-shower that leaks water through the door seal. It is clean, and functional, and very well situated just across from the Bahnhof. Could be loud if facing the road, but my room faced the back and was very quiet.

The hotel almost feels like I travelled back in time. You get a real key with the big knob attached, and you’ll have to return it to the front desk when you leave the premises. There was no service of the room during my entire stay, no towel service, nothing. They charge you 15 euros for uncovered parking overnight, while you can self-park in the parking garage next door for 5. In the room, there’s no coffee maker, free bottles of water, or a safe. They do have body wash for the shower, which is nice. All in all, it’s a decent hotel, but the price for the room is too high for what it is.

Functional!
Superb location right across from the train station where coffee shops, bakeries and other fast food options can be found. 10-15 mins walk from historical areas. Room and hotel were clean, got a welcome drink too. Not a cozy place per se, just very functional - I think that's what they are going for. There are a few interesting points that I'd like to point out for non-German guests (as I think it's pretty standard in Germany because now I've stayed in 4 hotels here and they are the same): - "double" bed means two single beds put together. Size wise, yes maybe it's a double, but there's a crack in the middle with two small comforters on top, so what's the point if I can only sleep on one single side anyways? If you are thinking of upgrading because of the bed option, say from a single bed to a double, or two singles to one double, don't bother. If you are a couple and prefers to sleep on the same bed, you will be sleeping on different mattresses. - body wash, shampoo, facial wash - all in one. All four hotels I stayed in had similar one bottle of liquid soap for all washings. If you care about this stuff, now you know to bring extra products.

First I would say that Hotel Conti exceeded my expectations. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good. The room was nice. Two things to be aware of is that there is no AC and it was hot when I was here. That means the windows needed to be open. I was able to cool the room with the fan but it is noisy being across from the train station. I slept alright but wouldn’t recommend it if you are a light sleeper.

OK if you are not fastidious
Our room was large and clean. However, it was very noisy, we were woken up several times at night by noise from the hallway and the street. The mattress was very hard, but some people like that. The pillow was ok. The breakfast for 12 € had only the basics, at 9:30 there were left no grain rolls, croissants, bananas, cake, yogurt nor cottage cheese (any more). Instead, simple rolls (but from the bakery, not self-baked), cereal, milk, scrambled eggs, cheese, cold cuts and apples. We would have expected more. Comfortable but noisy on warm weekends.
The hotel was clean and bright. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They also provided a drink coupon for the bar which made for a pleasant early evening relaxation. The only complaint was that it was warm outside and the windows had to be open. It was very noisy on the first night as it was a weekend so the sound was constantly disruptive. Unfortunately also the outlets in the room overpowered the fan so I could not cool off with that. Earplugs are advised on warm weekends! Otherwise good location and comfortable.

Well worth it
Overall it was worth what you pay for. Friendly staff, spoke English, but it was a bit noisy since it is right next to the Münster West Hbf. Easy to find and lots of nearly shopping/dining locations.

The hotel was very convenient just across the street from the train station. The room was clean and looked over the busy station area which I found interesting. There are restaurants in the area and good walking opportunities through the local parks.

Lovely and clean, great bar!
Hotel is right opposite the train station and a short walk to town. Staff were very friendly, rooms clean and had a lovely bar on the side that was immaculate. Coffee was gorgeous (so my partner says) and I enjoyed the alt beer - all reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.
