Below our expectations
This is not a resort. There is a former soldiers barracks that has been made into rooms. The rooms where not particularily nice, bathroom basic but clean. Service was slow and confusing, but they tried their best. Maybe if youre particularily interested in military historie you will like it, but if was nothing for us.

A very special setting
Beautiful setting with comfortable rooms, great views, an excellent breakfast and friendly service. While it's a great setting to have dinner in the fortress, unfortunately the food is not up to scratch. A better option would be to have a pizza in the nearby cafe, but that said this is a great place to stay and visit.

Brilliant location good hotel
A brilliant location and magnificent view across the fjord from the window. Breakfast was great. I would recommend the island as a place to visit. The hotel was overpriced for the amenities. It was a good three star hotel but called itself a resort, it needs to improve its systems. Eg we got 1 towel instead of 2, there was only coffee no tea, no ac and the fan provided was too noisy, the staff were good they fixed all the minor complaints quickly and happily but at the price their systems should have already dealt with them.

Hadde et supert opphold hos oscarsborg men rengoldet var lik 0. Vi hadde hengt på døra sånn vi vil gjerne ha rommet rengjort skilt da vi dro bort fredagen men ingen hadde vært dær med nye håndklær og ei heller vasket rommet. Dopapiret gikk tomt fredagskvelden så dette måtte vi si fra om selvsagt. Men frokost helt ubeskrivelig god og middag likeså. Og rolig og fin plass. Hærlig personale.
