"This property is NOT a hostel but more like a motor inn. My husband and I made our booking online in a hurry since we were driving and had to stay the night somewhere in Tarifa. Unfortunately the usual front desk staff at Hostal El Levante were on holidays at the time but Rocio and Diego, the owners, were so wonderful and made sure everything was set up to make our check in very easy. For a fee, the hotel offers parking in an underground car park about 150 meters away - the only space available was too narrow for my midsize SUV, but there is an excellent public parking garage with valet service also just 150 meters away, and even slightly cheaper than what you would pay...

Though the location is a bit further from downtown Tarifa than other hotels, we enjoyed the variety of the breakfast, easy parking, accommodating and friendly staff (especially the receptionist who checked us in, Betty), and resort/tropical vibes the property has. Definitely recommend for anyone coming to southern Spain! "
