It is a huge hotel with its own shops. But the busy area is within few minutes walking distance. The best part is the airport limousine bus drop you off at the front door.

Keio Plaza was a great place to stay to explore Tokyo. The rooms were large and clean, the breakfast buffet had a really nice selection of Japanese and non-Japanese options, and the location was super convenient to get to Shinjuku station. There are also a lot of good restaurants close to the hotel, and even a 7-eleven on the ground floor.

This is a 5 star property with excellent staff and service, with one major exception that loses a full star -- terrible wifi. The wifi itself is not a proper mesh network and has you rejoining each time you touch a new access point. That's a minor annoyance, the bigger problem is that the internet performance is highly unreliable. It goes from fast to painfully slow. This happened to my colleague and myself and across multiple devices and multiple days, so it was not an anomaly. Such an excellent property in so many other aspects (great lounge, good food options, superb location), but wifi is such a fundamental requirement that this needs to be considered.

Love the location! Only a short walk to Shinjuku station. There’s a 7/11 inside the hotel so it was easy to get snacks at midnight. The staff was also attentive and welcoming. Would definitely return!

The beds are like sleeping on a hard board. The pillows are lifeless and do nothing for support or comfort. For the amount of money you pay for the room, you would expect a way better quality bed and pillows for a good nights sleep.
