"Le séjour s'est très bien passé - nous avons passé 6 nuits dans une très grande chambre avec des grandes baies vitrées. la vue était magnifique et la chambre tout confort. "Staff at the hotel are great very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but I did find a couple of long hairs on the bed but other than that it was spotless. There is plenty to do at the hotel with entertainment and wellness centre and bike hire. Amenities in the room are quite good but you need to hire iron from the reception for 10€ deposit. Second stay here after having a club room with not a great view floor 0 and 1 I probably wouldn’t have an upgrade again I’d stick with a standard room, the benefits weren’t worth the extra money. "I loved everything about the whole complex. The food was excellent with a wide range of choices. The staff were all really friendly and extremely helpful. My room was perfect in every way and the complex itself was always spotlessly clean and the pools were at a lovely temperature. Rooms are nice but I am not a fan of the bedroom location of the suites as it’s back to back with the hallway so you hear all the late night people and early risers. The pool service is poor. "A lovely hotel with great facilities and bedrooms, the only thing letting it down was the restaurant. Only stayed one night but the quantity, quality and variety of the food was poor. Difficulty in finding plates and extra cutlery and food was not topped up in a timely manner. Pity as in all other aspects the hotel was great. Poorest food we’ve ever had in H10 hotels or indeed in any other 4* hotels."

"My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot."
