Interior design of the hotel is superb - clearly a lot of thought (and money) invested in the revamp. The only let down was the shambolic bar service -35 minutes waiting for a drink order to appear. The spa is amazing (although the staff on the desk could smile a bit more). The outdoor/indoor thermal pool is sensational

Overall it was a lovely stay and the staff were very nice, however it was understaffed which led to a tardy service particularly in the bar where dirty glasses piled up in the evening. This was not the staff’s fault as they were clearly stretched. Beyond this issue the hotel, facilities and the area are worth visiting.

No heat, unresponsive staff. Windows were very old with gaps of cold air blowing in. Heater was broken and they did not repair it the 3 days we were there so we had a 50 degree room with blowing wind and rain coming in.

We felt the bathroom was very tired looking. Staff were young and no training done. Breakfast was very poor for the rating of the hotel and my husband ripped his T-shirt on chair at breakfast as it was damaged. Think the hotel dealt with our complaints wrongly.
