Unfortunately the noise from the main road is very loud and pretty constant. They do supply ear plugs which tells you lots. Laura the front desk and Jess the breakfast girl and the housekeeping ladt were great...the manager not so much.

This BW Riviera was a surprisingly awesome. Staff are wonderful and the room we had. Wow! Maybe just updating the bathroom but I report no negatives. I have been to many hotels around the world including overwater bungalow to wooden structure in Afghanistan and this was one place that I blurted "wow" It served our needs as far as location and this place was a delightful surprise. Will stay here over the other higher tier places. That coffee machine was the clutch though.

It was super close to Stanford Hospital! I also was able to get a wholesome breakfast before I had to go to the hospital.

I have never had an issue staying a hotel but over the last week was horrible. Caring for my sick grandmother at Stanford driving back and forth I would hope to get some quiet, not the case people stomping above me, people running passed my door, and yelling all through the late hrs. When I was asked how my stay was I told them horrible and the front just stared at me and just asked me if I wanted my receipt didn’t ask what happened or anything. The only person that did her job very well was the lady at the breakfast counter she was apologetic when the simplest things didn’t go right and went to fix it right away. I unfortunately don’t recommend this felicity

Utilitarian but efficient
Utilitarian hotel, we use when staying in Menlo for concerts at the Frost or the Guild Theater. It's very small with small rooms, and there can be significant street noise during waking hours. However, it is cheap(ish) and clean, and they have a pretty decent breakfast. Don't expect much but a good bed and use the provided earplugs and you are all set.

The room was clean and the bed was good. They tripled the normal room rent, because of an event at Standford. Parking was an issue and the breakfast buffet was limited and cold.
