Great hotel in a not-so-great town!
We stayed in Wilhelmshaven for a near-by car show and as other reviewers mentioned, if you turn up outside 'normal' hours there's no-one on the desk and the hotel is locked up. After trying the hotel's number which wouldn't work for some reason on our UK phones, another German guest arrived and he kindly phoned the number and got the owner, and location of our key which was in a safe at the side of the building. Once inside things went a lot better, the room was a good size and very clean, no air-con but large opening windows. Nice modern Ikea fittings, homely touches and everything was clean and in good order. The area the hotel is in -and from what we saw, most of the town- is pretty run-down, it didn't feel particularly unsafe, but let's just say I don't think I'd want to turn up there on a dark winter's evening if I was a solo female traveller! We didn't see the hotel's own car park, and just used the free on-street parking. Breakfast was included in the price and was definitely the highlight of the stay- more food than you could hope for and beautifully presented- and you get to take what you can't finish with you. Staff in the morning were very friendly and chatty.

Komischer Geruch im Zimmer. Zu wenig Licht im Badezimmer. Treppenaufgang sehr schmutzig. Auch die Fensterbänke im Frühstücksraum. Alles sehr alt. Frühstück war sehr gut und der Service auch.

Die Zimmer sind klein und fein aber leider etwas hellhörig. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen und der Service ist super. Mineralwasser steht kostenlos zur Verfügung. Der Strassenlärm ist der einzige Minuspunkt, wenn man Ruhe sucht.

Unser Zimmer war individuell eingerichtet. Das Bad augenscheinlich neu renoviert und in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Das Zimmer war sauber und entsprechend groß. Wir waren rundherum zufrieden und können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Gefallen hat uns auch das sehr große Frühstück. Dieses wird nicht in Buffetform sondern individuell am Tisch gereicht. Eine tolle Sache. Wer hier nicht zufrieden ist, dem kann eigentlich nicht mehr weitergeholfen werden.

Nettes, kleines Hotel. Liegt 5 min zu Fuß von der Innenstadt entfernt. Die Gegend ist etwas weniger schön. Zimmer sind sauber, liebevoll und stimmig eingerichtet. Die Größe der Zimmer ist absolut in Ordnung. Der Service ist top. Frühstück sehr gut und es wird einem ans Herz gelegt, ruhig etwas für später mit zu nehmen (Papier Tüten liegen mit im Brötchen Korb). Wirklich sehr freundlich und nicht aufdringlich. Beim Check - out haben wir noch einen Kaffee to go für jeden bekommen. Zusätzlich gab es im Zimmer 2 Gutscheine für einen Kaffee im zugehörigen Café in der Innenstadt. Preis - Leistung absolut top und wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.
