Every Day The Gaza Holocaust Continues, The Empire Tells The Truth About Itself

Caitlin Johnstone   We do not live in a free society that is guided by truth and morality. We live under the most murderous and tyrannical power structure on the face of this planet. And we should distrust everything about it. That's what they're showing us with the Gaza holocaust. More and more people are opening their eyes to it every day.      Related:   Time for the anti-imperialist powers to take the keys of the planet from the declining and morally bankrupt West

Google Imports Ex Israeli Spies, The Genocide Resumes, Cruel Britannia

by Nate Bear   Part 3 - Cruel Britannia   The UK is moving ahead with large welfare cuts for disabled people, including those with cancer. On TV the other day, the UK’s health secretary Wes Streeting said that people with cancer should be in work, not at home resting. Alongside this, the government has said that to cut youth employment it will push young people to join the army. This, of course, is in the context of a massive expenditure on military weapons in the face of the Russian bogeyman.   What’s happening in the UK under a nominally centre-left Labour government is a good reminder that there is never a lesser evil if your leaders are neoliberals. Balancing the books on the backs of the poorest and most vulnerable in society is the north star of all neoliberals, whether they call themselves centrists, left wing or right wing. Cruelty is the policy and the point.    Yet the last few years have also been a good reminder that everything is a choice. Cov...

Class struggle, Empire, and Neoliberal Myths

Empire Watch   How does the professional managerial class (PMC) uphold the US empire? 🌍 ‪   Professor of film and media studies at UC Irvine and author of Virtue Hoarders: the Case Against the Professional Managerial Class , Catherine Liu @CLiuAnon‬, joins Ileana Chan for episode 27 of Global Majority for Peace.  In this episode, Catherine unpacks the PMC’s role in supporting US-led imperialism, from its cultural dominance to its complicity in the global neoliberal agenda. She delves into class dynamics, the myths of meritocracy, and how these systems perpetuate inequality and imperialist policies.  From the US’s interventions in the Global South to its foreign policy strategies in China and Russia, this conversation sheds light on how the PMC manufactures consent for the neoliberal and anti-working-class agenda.

Deranged euroclowns want to revive a nazi-origin project!

globinfo freexchange   Behind the ridiculously cartoonish latest spot of the EU that gives "instructions" to the European citizens on how to deal with a major crisis during the first hours, lies a secret desire.    The deranged euroclowns of the crypto-fascist extreme center , are trying to build up a condition of consent inside the minds of Europeans, which is related to their biggest wet dream: an autonomous imperialist European army. The idea was not born suddenly because of Trump's hostile attitude against his own allies. From the early 50s, pan-European networks of neo-Nazis were created. In May 1951, the European Social Movement (MSE) was founded in Malmö, Sweden. Essentially, it was about projecting the ideology of the German SRP on a pan-European level. The MSE, which would remain active until the 1980s, proclaimed the need for Europe to emancipate itself from the divisive tutelage of the USA and the USSR, called for the defense of the “European race” against th...

Netanyahu Pushes “Libya Model” For War With Iran!

The Jimmy Dore Show   President Donald Trump made a surprise announcement on Monday that the United States and Iran were poised to begin “direct talks” on Tehran’s nuclear program, but Iran’s foreign minister said the discussions in Oman would be “indirect”. Israel’s shadow looms large over the talks. An Iranian official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said over the weekend there was possibly a window of around two months to reach a deal, citing worries that Iran’s longtime foe Israel might launch its own attack if talks took longer.   Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, who has shown little support for US negotiations with Iran, said if diplomacy could prevent Tehran from ever getting nuclear weapons “in a full way, the way it was done in Libya, I think that would be a good thing.” Jimmy Dore and guest host Aaron Maté discuss why Iran might want to avoid the fate that befell Libya after Gaddafi dismantled his country’s nuclear weapons program.

Tariffs are part of Trump's big plan to save US dollar dominance. Will it work?

Geopolitical Economy Report   US President Donald Trump wants to use tariffs as part of a plan to save the dominance of the dollar as the global reserve currency. His top economic advisor Stephen Miran outlined the Trump administration's strategy to force other countries to pay the USA to maintain its imperial financial and military order. Ben Norton explains the idea behind the hypothetical "Mar-a-Lago Accord".      Related:   Trump's tariffs: A unique opportunity for BRICS and the Global South to fully escape from dollar tyranny

Pentagon Preparing GROUND INVASION of Yemen!

The Jimmy Dore Show   The US military has used $200 million in munitions since it restarted its campaign against Yemen over two weeks ago – the success of which has been “limited,” according to a 4 April report by the New York Times . The report comes as US President Donald Trump has been boasting about the success of Washington’s campaign against the Ansarallah resistance movement, which he says has been “decimated.”   “In closed briefings in recent days, Pentagon officials have acknowledged that there has been only limited success in destroying the Houthis’ vast, largely underground arsenal of missiles, drones and launchers,” anonymous congressional aides and officials told NYT. Guest host Aaron Maté and Americans’ comedian Kurt Metzger discuss the soon-to-be $1 billion price tag for the attacks on Yemen, and the possible ground invasion Trump recently hinted at.
