Elacatinus nesiotes Bussing, 1990; Dialommus fuscus Gilbert, 1891; Labrisomus dendriticus (Reid,1935); Odontoscion eurymesops (Heller & Snodgrass, 1903); Mycteroperca olfax (Jeynyns, 1842) and thus it was of interest to compare the new species with another deep-water Peristedion from the Galapagos archipelago.
