Two tenders for the supply of (a) 50 steel safes & 150 Talien type carpets, (b) one printer with master, 100 electric calculating machines, 50 telephone sets & 15 telefax machines.

University students are not free from depression but the majority of them do not seek treatment for a number of reasons, University of Wollongong in Dubai students counsellor Talien Huisman said.

Talien Huisman, student counsellor at the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD), said international students who have lived in the Gulf region for some time have familiarity with the culture but "for students coming from further away, living in the UAE can be quite challenging because it is so unfamiliar to them".

There are all sorts of aspects of economic development appearing in different areas of China and the present economic activity can be divided into four regions -- the Talien, Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong zones.

Talien Huisman, a student counsellor at the University of Wollongong Dubai, said: "People who have lived outside their home country and culture tend to develop a sense of independence and autonomy, as their experiences are broadened." However, such people may "struggle a little in finding their own identity."
