Bit-by-Bit founder and chief executive Tim Cling declined to say how his business was affected by Sept.
Bit-by-Bit, which is headquartered on Chad Drive, has about 100 employees in 11 offices throughout mostly western cities, including Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
So far, 51 Oregon companies have applied for the loans, but only nine, including Bit-by-Bit, were approved for funding.
"It is a very competitive market now, but we believe that we offer our customers excellent advantages in pricing, product availability and customized on-site service," says Cling, president of Bit-by-Bit, which was named after a term for computational quantity (i.e., Binary digIT).
The company's motto -- "Bit-by-Bit to the Rescue" -- reinforces its mission of giving customers what they want, when they want it.
