Police responded after receiving several 999 calls describing seeing a "man wielding a sword" in Cinder Bank road.

A spokesman for the force said: "Police received several 999 calls from 10am this morning (June 9) reporting men fighting in Cinder Bank, Netherton, and reports that one man had a sword-like weapon.
