All existing stallion shares, in horses such as Kris, Diesis and Grand Lodge, will be retained, as will the stud's mares, which currently number between 18 and 20.

A day after his death at the age of 86, Lord Howard's great racehorse Diesis sealed a notable double as a sire, led by Ramruma's Classic victory at The Curragh.

Ramruma is the 11th runner for her dam Princess Of Man (whose sire Green God finished first in both the Nunthorpe and the Haydock Sprint), and the three best, all excelling at middle distances, are the three by Middle Park and Dewhurst hero Diesis.
