For particleboard finished with acrylic water-based paint, the
ethanediol, 1,2-propylene glycol, aromatic hydrocarbons, methylbenzene, xylene, and cyclohexanone should be controlled.

All chemical reagents, such as
ethanediol, sulphuric acid, and calcium oxide, are analytically pure from Sinopharm Chemical Regent Co.
Sol-gel solutions were prepared by dissolving 1.7 x [10.sup.-2] mol of calcium acetate in
ethanediol, and 1 x [10.sup.-2] mol of the following phosphorus precursors were added to the calcium precursor solution; phosphoric acid, phosphorous pentoxide refluxed with 1-proponal, and triethylphosphite.
Zinc sulfate, sodium hydroxide, ammonium acetate, ethanol,
ethanediol, 1-chlorobutane, and acetone were purchased from Merck (BDH).
