OneTime Messenger, "simpler secure messaging" is the newest project to come out of

Leading European washed and ready to eat salad company Vitacress Group has consolidated electronic trading onto the
OneTime platform, providing a common and intelligent interface between the group's customers and different ERP systems.
The reality is that such charges reflect the normal and expected: expansion and contraction of activities, acquisitions and dispositions of assets and recurring modifications classified under the label "restructuring." Several companies have begun referring to such costs as "recurring, non-recurring charges." For pro forma measures to be useful and complement GAAP-based numbers, they must meaningfully reflect only
onetime charges.
For the 52 weeks ended February 2 net profits, excluding
onetime charges, rose to $1.22 billion, up from $1.13 billion in the 53-week fiscal 2000.
Kroger incurred
onetime items totaling $13 million pretax ($8.4 million after taxes), consisting of $10.5 million in mergerrelated costs and $2.5 million related to utility contracts.
A closer look at the
onetime items in the recently completed quarter shows $2.3 million in merger-related fees, $2.8 million in merchandise charges tied to inventory reevaluations and $11.1 million in operating, general and merchandise (OG&A) charges, primarily from store conversions or closures.
Fiscal 2001's bottom line was hit by $284.5 million ($174.4 million after taxes) in
onetime charges.
Factoring in $26 million ($17 million after-tax) in
onetime charges and merger-related costs from the retailer's union with American Stores Co., Albertson's posted net income of $194 million in the fiscal 2000 span.
During the quarter ended November 10 earnings before
onetime items climbed 11.8% to $258.6 million from $231.4 million a year ago, when results included a $1.6 million charge related to debt extinguishment.
