Experimental studies of total pion to kaon multiplicity ratio (([K.sup.+] + [K.sup.-])/([[pi].sup.+] + [[pi].sup.-]) = K/[pi]) in pp collisions have been reported by different collaborators in different times over a wide range of energy.
