On Thursday, Ras Al Khaimah Police installed a 3D
walkway on Mohammad Bin Salim Road to stop errant drivers from speeding and to ensure the safety of pedestrians in the area.
"A 300m
walkway between Sec-51 of NMRC's Aqua Line & Sec-52 of DMRC's Blue Line was inaugurated today by Shri Durga Shanker Mishra, @Secretary_MoHUA.

'We welcome the construction of a sheltered

walkway on Singapore's side,' the spokesperson added.

walkway project was implemented by Muscat Municipality and Al Tasnim Enterprises.
It then crossed the road to hit the barriers on the opposite side, which protect the busy
walkway along St Davids Road, which is used by schoolchildren during the day.
"It will be an addition to the national economy, enhance development process, and translate government's directions in finding projects that play a role in providing employment opportunities within the framework of the partnership between the government and the private sector and maximise its local investments," added Al Araimi who was present while laying the foundation stone of the
walkway.

Another employee later observed ice on the
walkway where Thomas had fallen.
