Well, expected but still unexpected. My current job is a contract position, and when all of this Covid stuff started, the company I'm working at did a blanket extension of all possible max end dates for another three months. That put my date at the end of the year. The contract itself is updated every three months, so original it was supposed to end at the end of September.

Well, just found out, as we finished are big projects, that my group was getting it's budget for contract positions cut. I still have to end of the month, but that's it (unless something changes between then and now, it has happened before with other contractors). So, the good news is that I have a month before I'm out of work, and I can start looking right away. As an upside, my boss offered a referral and reference, I guess I made a really good impression on him.

I've been getting regular messages from recruiters for the last year, so I know there is some demand, and after working from home for six months, I would be more open to remote positions as well. In the end, I would say there is a 1 in 4 chance of actually landing something before the end of the month (it's always easier to find a job when you have a job).

Financially, I'm in good shape, so I'm not worried, even if it takes just as long as it did last time. So I should weather this just fine.

Sometimes, when I see someone having faved one of my pictures, I will go check out the artists to see what they have been doing. Most of the time there's new stuff, other times though they have disabled their account and I can't find any reason why. In this case it was  thelemonadestand.

It's always a bit sad when an artists who seemed to be quite prolific suddenly just shuts their account and leaves without any comment about it. I know they had their reasons, it's just always comes as a shock like that.

I recently got a picture of what I look like as a Lion Lamia, which is based on a vore story.

Because of that, I think the next picture I will be getting of that form will be with someone in my belly. So, is anyone interested in being dinner? Pic will be clean, and soft vore, but I doubt that will bother anyone.

I try not to talk about it to much, but I do have a patreon where I post all my new content before it goes public. In fact I just put up the next chapter of one of my pony fic for patrons, with other stuff coming in the near future. It will be posted here soon enough, so you're not missing anything yet, but there will be some excursive stories in the future.

So, if you like what I do and want to support me, or just see more of my stuff, it's a great way to do both.

Over all, it's not bad... Not great, but not bad. As per normal the default dark theme is an strain inducing eyesore, but at least the light theme works well enough. I did catch a bug with it on mobile, which got quickly fixed (though it might have been unrelated, still fixed it soon after I made a comment about it).

Though I think the fonts are a couple points to big. Everything is jumbo sized and it makes it hard to read on desktop and mobile.

Still, not the worst I've seen. It's far better then DA's disaster of a new layout that cuts most of the features. Though I could do without the redundant sidebar on the comments page, it's just wasting space repeating what is already in the menu.

With the start of a new year come up quick, I thought it was time to cover a few upcoming plans for the next couple of months as well as some more general things that will be coming up.

First and foremost, I have two new one-shot pony fics that I'm going to be posting before the end of the year. One is your standard clop fair (with a super rare pairing) and the other is a much shorter clean piece with a ponies on earth theme.

Both stories are currently up on my Pateron if you want to see them right away. There will be a lot more stuff coming in the next few months, and not just pony fiction.

After that, I'll be working on some larger furry commissions that I'm doing to have done soon, plus more pony stuff.

Lastly, if all goes well I'll be reopening commissions some time in March. So keep an eye out on my commission page or my Pateron for when that will be open.

I am hoping to opening up commissions again early in the new year, to that end I've be reworking my rules for commissions (as well as a minor price increase). At the same time putting together a proper queue so people can see where things are sitting.

When I do open, there will be instructions on how to sign up for one there as well. I should also note, slots will be opening up early for Patreons, though will not be excursive to them.

 Milgrove was probably one of my oldest friends in the fandom, going all the way back to the late 90s. We talked almost every day, or at least every other day. It's strange to have him just suddenly gone like this. I'm going to miss him and all the time we spent together.

Well today is my fo*cough cough*nd birthday. At honestly I'm not doing special for the day, mostly just getting along as per usual. Working on a lot of stuff, including some new pony fics. So should be a lot more coming down the pipeline from me in the next few months.

Only three weeks until my next birthday, and I've decided that this is the last one I'm going to count. After things I'm going to stick to Age+x for how old I am, just because I can.

And no, I'm not turning 40. I already did that a while ago.

There are times I get so frustrated that I just want to scream and yell, that I feel like I want to post long rants about what I'm feeling the way I'm feeling. Yet every time I do, I always stop myself because all I can think about is how either no one would care, or people would end up getting angry at me for how I feel. It seems stupid, I know, but history has shown that to nearly always be the case.

Sometimes it just feels like I'm not allowed to feel this way. It's stupid, but I don't know how else to describe it. I know that really no one cares either way, but I still wish I felt like I could just vent. There are just some things I wish I could just let go on, but I just can't.

I don't know, it's just... I just want to be able to be angry at shit now and then without fearing that it will get people mad at me again. I find myself self editing anything negative or that could be consider down just to keep that from happening. Even with this post.

Over all there has been some good news of late. I'm finally back to work after six months (yay) and I've had a couple of semi-popular stories in the recent future. Though with all the stress my writing the last few months has been slow I still have been pushing forward and hopefully now that I'm grounded again I should be getting back to speed.

Kind of hoping to do more writing streams in the future, but we'll see how that goes.

He's 15, and his health has been on the decline for a while. Well things have accelerated over the last few weeks and after a trip to the vet over the weekend, and the final results is that there isn't much that can be done for him now.

I have lots of pictures of him, though he's hardly in the mood to pose for more, and his likeness did end up in a card game a few years ago. Still, I'm not sure how to process all of this yet.

There is some good news on the job front, but that can wait till later.

So, last year was a bit of a crazy one for me. Not only did a get a number of stories put out (both here and on my FA), I also had one huge hit, which still kind of blows my mind. Outside of writing I also managed a trip to Tokyo plus a few visits to Disneyland, so that’s all good. Also managed to meet both my writing goals for the year (word count and days of work).

On the bad side, I’ve found myself without a full time editor (for non-pony stuff) due to time issues, and I got laid off. So it hasn’t been all sunshine and roses. I’ve also had very little luck in making progress in finding a new job. Things are stable at the moment, and should stay that way for a while, but it’s still frustrating. I generally try not to talk about the bad things much, but I thought it would be worth tell those of you who were asking.

I do have a number of plans for this year, some of which are pony related and others are just general goals (outside of finding a new job). So, on the front of my non-pony fiction:

* A few adult stories in the editing phase so should be showing up soon.
* More squeals are in the works. Hopefully they should both be done this year, but there are a few things in line before them.
* I might open up for more shorts is the second half of the year, but it will depend on time and demand
* More pony stuff (more info on that on my FimFiction account)
* And whatever else I come up with during the year.

And for those who might care, I do have a Ko-fi, though I’m in no dire need at the moment.

With the holidays come up, I thought I would offer a few chances to get some short stories. I would love to have them be holiday themed, but that isn't required. It doesn't have to be a TF or WG story, and I would love interesting takes of things.

The story length will between 1.5k-3.5k words.

Just got laid off today, not exactly the sort of thing I need right now.

For those of you who might be interested, I've been doing writing streams fairly often over the last few weeks, and they have been doing pretty well (if a bit on the empty side).

Well things are looking pretty good for me spending a couple weeks in Tokyo this January (and possibly a few other places in Japan, depending on how things go). Nothing is quite set in stone just yet, but things will be fairly flexible.

Would love some suggestions of any none obvious things to check out while I'm there, and always happy to meet up with people who might be around.

Been kind of wanting to get a pic of Theo with a male krogan, and I was thinking it might be a bit more fun if it wasn't just one of the games.
