So For the longest time, most of you have known me as a Maine Coon Cat, which has been fitting since I have one and love cats.

But it was always a fall back of sorts for a Fursona,it didn't really feel like it was really well.. *me*. When I stumbled upon Cassie as an Adoptable, (I know it sounds silly), I fell in love with the design, and a lot of things seemed to click into place. She was Nameless so I named her after an alteration of my own name (something weird to do for an adoptable, right?), And wound up using her more and more in more personal situations.

Then I wound up with a chance to Commission a good friend,  rainsoakedpuppy. What was supposed to be a fun little pic of another good fur friend of mine,  tobicoon and my character Cassie, turned into something vastly different then what I had expected. During Rain's stream, watching him draw Cassie as pregnant, something clicked and I had him keep her more looking like she was overweight.

When the inking was done, I looked at a character that was no longer a character, and one that felt far closer to me personally, then my Feline Gly did. I had been talking a lot to Tobi about some more ...personal things that She could relate to, and I came to the Decision that night that Cassie was a better representation of inner self, my more real self, then Gly ever was.

She represented so much of me without me knowing it. She represented what I had bottled for so long, something I had been fighting for a long time out of conflicting feelings and confusion. She represented my desire to be a woman. To be female, fertile, motherly. I have never really felt fully comfortable, being male. It's one of the reasons I have so many Herm/Shemale Characters and several FtM/Cboi Characters as well.

Watching Cassie Being drawn that night, and those feelings coming to a head (with Tobi's guidance and help), made me break down and face some truths about myself. I was a Mess for the Rest of the night, but in the morning I woke up with a better resolve and clearer head. I have decided I need to start researching on how to Go about Transitioning. I want to be what I feel I am deep down, a woman, and I want a body that can at least somewhat match that, at some point. Its going to take a long time, but now its out and I have my bearings straight to the path I need to take to feel at least more whole and more true to myself.

TL;DR

I'm looking into Transitioning from male to female. Gly is still here, and still very Dear to me. Shi Wont be going away, But from now on, my Fursona is better represented in an Overweight Mutt lovingly Called Cassie. :3
