yeah there was a series in 2011 that was really good, and i guess the real story is that the show was cancelled due to a new line of Lego toys called "legends of Chima"

It was largely canned because CN purposely fucked it over by making sure as few people as possible could even see it and then blaming low sales of low-quality tie-in toys for the cancellation.

I'd only heard the latter. Being in the UK, we're kindof screwed over for airings of shows anyway so I didn't even know other places were having as many issues as here. 'tis a shame though, it was about the only reboot CN actually did well.

Yeah, CN kept bouncing it from timeslot to timeslot, so no one even knew WHEN to watch it. At one point it was even on at 6am on Saturdays, when few people are actually up.

I absolutely fail to understand why bronies would have had anything to do with that reboot getting canceled

they had a "boycott all cartoons that are not FIM" thing back then but they where just blowing hot air out of there asses
keep in mind at this point they where as bad then as R&M fans are now

Thundercats 2011 was canned because Cartoon Network wanted it to be.
