And, complete!
For
pentalis featuring Nessic.
They were looking for something rather close in idea and design to the sketch, so I refined a lot of details, but didn't change them much. I'm really proud with how this turned out, and things like a bit of criticism and feedback from friends was a key part of the process.
Thank you very much. ^_^

Oh my goodness. 'A'
What impresses me a bit is that this actually compliments the original lighting scheme for the YCH advert, but pops off the page with that gorgeous drake in full detail.
I love the attention paid to each and every artist's canvas, each having their own figure, focus, and progress therein.
And look at Nessic there, such a smug and comfortable bastard knowing he's being admired in all his glory~

As an art model that pose would be painful to keep for very long because of the tension on the back and the arms scrunched up on the pedestal not to mention holding out the wings and tension in the tail. However I love any art about art models and the study of art, great job!
-I merely wanted to gaze upon your magnificence, to see if you really were as great as the old tales say. I did not believe them.
-[strikes a pose] And do you, NOW?
-Truly, tales and songs fall utterly short of your enormity...
-Do you think flattery will keep you alive?
-No, no...
-No, indeed!
He's awesome looking!
