Nono had just woken up to the bird Pokémon chirping. Yep this was gonna be a good day. She got up from her admittedly very comfy bed. Her tail was wagging with excitement as she got dressed in a white T-shirt and over it, putting on a purple and white plaid flannel. Lastly, topping off the outfit with a set of jeans and sun hat. She made her way downstairs where she continued her morning routine which included eating breakfast, going to the bathroom, brushing her hair, brushing her teeth, and taking a shower…. not in that order of course. As she made her way out of the bathroom she heard a knock at the door. Not expecting visitors today she assumed it was the mailman which she was correct as she saw a letter slipped through the mail slot.

As Nono picked up the letter, she was a bit confused on what it could be. The return address was from two people she had never met before, Sune & Claws. She thought maybe it was the wrong address and this was meant for someone else. But then again, it did specifically say this was for Nono. Out of morbid curiosity, she decided to open the letter.

“Hello There!

We can understand your surprise at receiving this letter! But you seem like you need a little adventure in your life! We have hidden a legendary shield in the forest for you, and it contains intense power! If you’re up to the challenge, get a move on!

She looked at the letter curiously tilting her head saying “huh…. Sune and claws...interesting…. maybe one of my family members is just playing a trick on me…. welp why not humor them I’ve got nothing’ else to do anyways” she said chuckling a bit as she raced out the door eagerly. The forest the letter mentioned was none other than the slumbering weald….one of the forests most Galatians don't explore…. but it had to be safer if her “family” were playing a trick on her...so she slightly reluctantly wandered inside the eternally misty forest.

“Hmmm… and this was a shield I am looking for?” Nono asks herself as she double checks the letter to make sure she was looking at it correctly. Yes, it was a shield as the letter specifically mentioned. “Where could a shield be hidden?” Nono asks herself as she checks the trees and structures for a sign or a clue as to where the shield might be.

Luckily, there were some sticks in the form of arrows leading her down through the forest. “Well isn't that helpful!'' She said slightly nervous as she trekked her way through the forest following the arrows. Until she finally came across a clearing.one that looked almost like an altar...as she stepped closer to it she saw an old rusted…. Shield! Haha she had found it! She thought to herself as she walked to the shield.

“This is quite the shield!” Nono says as she picks up the shield. She shook off some of the dirt to clean it up, but as she did, the shield suddenly shone bright! Was Nono about to wield some intense power? Actually, not completely wrong, but Nono realized something wasn’t right. She felt herself begin to change! Her purple paws were starting to turn black.

She looked at her paws screaming quickly dropping the shield. But this however did not stop the changes...her fur became much, much denser, and softer yet tougher. With the change in texture came new colors since the purple color scheme wasn't gonna be enough anymore. Her fur started to change color becoming a mixture of red, white and a dark blue the pattern being that of a zamazentas. As this change happened she started to grow much larger. Like a dog the size of a horse and a half which made her lose her balance as she went onto four legs instinctively.

“Shoot! I can’t get up!” Nono says as she feels another change. She felt herself start to become a he as she was transforming into a male. “What?” Nono says as she realizes her voice has become more masculine. Nono then felt herself grow muscles all over her body, making him much stronger and more powerful. His face began to stretch out into a canine-like muzzle as he felt his teeth get sharpened.

He looked watching the changes…. his voice started to change another time gaining an honorable soft British lord accent. “W-what's happen-...m-my voice…. if I wasn't majorly freaking out right now I’d think this was hot…” he said nervously gulping. Another change happened to his back legs as they became powerful like his front legs but sadly no longer able to stand up on two legs. The next change happened in the head where his eyes became a deep reddish purple, and his hair became a ponytail style.

His tail became more fluffy and furry as it grew with more pointed ends. He also felt fur sprout into pointed patterns across his feet and body as his change into a Zamazenta was starting to slow down as he neared completion. He took a few steps on his new legs as he found it surprisingly easy to adjust to a four-legged form.

He felt powerful and slightly dizzy as new knowledge entered his brain and there was only one thing left that changed. He was no longer able to speak human tongue but only poke speak which was essentially the same thing, but people couldn't understand it. He started to learn steel and fighting type moves… Pokémon moves...he truly felt...legendary…. this was cool and all but it still worried Nono…..what would he do in this new form now…..her very last change was her fur changing to roughly resemble a shield around her neck.

As Nono started walking in the forest, she sensed a powerful aura nearby. It didn’t seem threatening, but it was very unusual. He decided to follow the aura, and as it got more powerful, he got closer. Eventually, he found it! A Zacian was waiting at a stone altar in the middle of the forest. Zacian was staring right at him.

The female Zacian looked at the male Zamazenta smiling as she courtly walked up to him. “They said I'd get a new friend, but I didn't think they'd look this handsome,” the Zacian said to Nono giggling. He blushed flattered as he nervously spoke “W-what do you mean they? W-what's going on” he asked, scared as the Zacian looked at Nono confused.

“Hmm? They didn't tell you? “She asked confused as the Zamazenta shook his head nervously. “Oh dear…. I'm sorry I assumed you knew what you were getting yourself into'' the female wolf Pokémon said nervously. “Well what exactly is going on here anyways” Zamazenta asked.

“Well what's going here is you were picked to become erm...new “company” per say…...again I’m really sorry you got wrapped up in this… listen just sit down and we can hash out all the details deal- erm.,.. Uhm friend” she said stumbling over her words. Blushing embarrassed as Nono sat down and the two started to discuss.

“So, I had this letter taking me on some sort of adventure and it said I would find a shield. Sune and Claws, they were the ones that did this to me. I mean, I feel strong and powerful, but everything is different now. So much has changed in a short period of time.” Zamazenta tells Zacian.

‘Yyyyyyeah… they said they were choosing like a bunch of people to experience the Pokémon life….and they asked me if I wanted a partner- uhm some company and I just couldn't pass that up…. I didn't think this was unwillingly” she said covering her muzzle sadly and embarrassed.

“I will admit that at least you're nice about it and friendly. Do you have friends out here?” he asks her. Zacian’s ears drooped as she shook her head no. “Oh, I’m sorry. But you could use a friend.” Zamazenta says, picking up Zacian’s head trying to cheer her up.

She sighed smiling “Well, all the Pokémon like me but none of them are ever around long enough to be longtime friends...being a legendary is hard sometimes when there's only one of your species…” she said sadly.

“Don’t worry, I’ll happily be your friend! I’ll fight hard every day to make that true! We’ll be legendary together!” Zamazenta says trying to perk up Zacian.

Her eyes lit up smiling as she nuzzled Zamazenta happily “That's all I needed to hear!” she yelled happily as she stood up wagging her tail. “Hey wanna go for a run?: she asked eagerly.

“I’d love to! I gotta get these legs working! And it’s always better running with a friend!” He says wagging his tail with her as they both begin to playfully run throughout the forest. They were able to let all of their worries melt away as they ran as fast as they could, side by side.

Meanwhile a certain kitsune and dragon were watching in the trees pleased with their work..

“Looks like they got their happy ending! Just as we knew they would!” The dragon says to the kitsune.

“Yep! A lot of them surely will…. now let’s consult the clipboard to see who the next target is,” she said looking at it, crossing the purple doggo out and looking down the list seeing the next victim “Ok, this one's codename is joy killer… ok odd but let's go check ‘em out!” she said happily, as they head out on their next transformation project!
