no.26: Dino Mighty - Wario World

Throughout the years, one commonly reoccurring theme in these countdowns has been Wario. I don't plan it, it just kinds happens over and over again! I can't help it, I love the greedy little doppleganger and everything about him upholds the uncanny weirdness of Halloween to me. Still, with all my inclusions of the wannabe plumber, I've never ventured outside him or Waluigi and that's unfortunate. The Wario Land games are rife creepy weirdos that make portly Bizarro look normal that's I've been overlooking for years, case in point with this next entry, the absurd Dino Mighty! Now if there was one game that really drew me into Wario himself, it was Wario World on the GameCube. Ironically, it may actually be my least favorite in the series these days, but I have lots of fond memories playing it as a child, so I was hard pressed to ignore the suggestion of one of it's more ridiculous bosses. Of course, I still found a way of sneaking the flatulent fellow into this piece. I swear, no matter what I cannot escape Wario in these countdowns, even after I've sworn off drawing him again -- twice! I guess some things are just unavoidable in this universe... death, taxes and Wario!
