We’ve left Ukraine due to the war, forced to live in a place we can barely afford, paying $300 a month for the cheapest flat we could find. We have no family support; her parents are unable to help, and my father, who has serious health issues, was forcibly taken into the army.
My wife suffers from schizophrenia and severe depression, and she’s tried to end her life twice—first by taking 50 clozapine pills, and then by attempting to jump from a high-rise building. Right now, her psychological state is more stable, but we’re still facing overwhelming challenges. We’re drowning in debt, unable to pay rent, and on the brink of eviction.
I can’t leave her alone, so a stable job isn’t an option. Our only income comes from art commissions, but it’s not enough. We’re desperate and pleading for your help.
