Velocity was raised in Canterlot by two wealthy and successful parents who own the most renown luxury resort in Equestria. Despite being around rich and snobby ponies for most of her life, Velocity grew up much more humble and grounded than her family members. She was rebellious in almost every way imaginable. Instead of dolls and play-sets for her birthday presents, she always preferred skateboards, toy guns, and comic books. She made sure to get herself thrown out of every private school she was forced to attend and refused to follow in her parents hoofsteps. Velocity preferred learning as much as she could about newly introduced human technology that made its way to Equestria over the years. She was always brilliant with mathematics and science, especially physics. In her spare time growing up she enjoyed tinkering with computers or whatever other devices she could get her hooves on.

During her early adulthood, Velocity began to study old and forgotten magic while in university. She quickly found herself studying a once forbidden type of magic that would allow the caster to alter the size of objects or ponies. Her interest in physics in particular fueled her desire to learn and perfect what she called ‘size magic’. It was an extremely dangerous and taxing undertaking, but after a year of practice Velocity was able to safely alter her own size without lasting side effects. For the first few years, she kept her talent low key and generally only used it to spice up fun in the bedroom.

When Velocity was 22, Velocity took her first official vacation to the human world. At this time almost two decades had passed since the first portal to the human world opened up. Within a few years relations between the two species had become strong enough that it wasn't unusual for ponies to visit or even move to Earth, or vice versa. This vacation was an opportunity for Velocity to explore everything Earth had to offer an unusually ambitious mare. A few weeks into her travels, she met two stallions in London while she was on a hunt to see all the landmarks in the area. Both were unicorns and had fiery eyes. One was middle aged and named Blazing Quartz, but the other had been only a year or two younger than her. His name was Blazing Cobalt. Despite his grumpy expression, Velocity found herself attracted to them at once. While the stallion’s father had been distracted by a King’s Guard sitting on a horse, she had been quick to trot over and let him know she liked what she saw. Not too long after they had began to date.

While between jobs when she was 25, Velocity and Blaze added another stallion to their ‘herd’. This stallion was an earth pony named Blackout, who lived in the same town as Blaze. Blackout is easily the largest of the three ponies and the most gentle and kindhearted. His loving and encouraging personality was able to both give Velocity a nudge to pursue a different career path, and Blaze to lower his emotional barriers. His love for nature and working on machinery was something that allowed Velocity to become extremely close to him in no time at all.

Unfortunately, by the time Velocity was in her mid 20s, political unrest were creating tensions between humanity and equestrians. At least this was the case in some parts of the human world. After a failed attack on the Equestrian embassy, a joint task force was created to make sure that peace could be maintained between both worlds. The J.E.S.T’s
(Joint Equestrian Security Taskforce) goal is to prevent possible attacks on both Equestria and allied nations. Knowing that her talent’s could be useful to this end, Velocity was quick to sign up.

She specialized in capturing targets who had been deemed security risks. With her size magic, taking down targets was child’s play. When shrinking targets from a distance wasn’t practical, Velocity had no issue in growing to an enormous size and searching for whoever dared threaten the Princesses or leaders of the Earth governments. While extremely dangerous in an inexperienced magic users hooves, Velocity was able to ensure collateral damage was never a factor. Once large enough, magical ability grew exponentially. Velocity was well known for growing to a size where she could stand over an entire city. With a simple protection spell, she was able to ensure that humans within the magical aura would not be harmed while she tore buildings and bunkers apart to find her targets. This show of power and effectiveness was enough to quickly lower the amount of violent resistance, but she was frequently deployed when new groups popped up. In her spare time, Velocity also enjoys more casual bounty hunting, as well as meeting her many fans.
