Breading
Breadcrumbs (I used store bought ones)
Garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Flour
Egg wash (I mixed in a little water with my eggs)
Ingredients
Grounded chicken
Now, you don't need to focus too much on seasoning the chicken itself as your breadcrumbs are seasoned. You're going to form the chicken burger into patties and pop them into the freezer for a few hours (I did two hours and they turned out fine) that way they're nice and firm. Before those come out getting your breading station ready, and your oil up to temp (I don't have a deep fryer so I placed it on medium-low heat and used regular vegetable oil). Alright, once you've taken your patties out you'll place them into the flour, then the egg wash, and your breadcrumbs last. Hopefully, your oil is up to temp (I recommend using tongs so you don't risk burning yourself) cook them until your thermometer says 165F or higher.
Prepping the Buns
Sesame seed buns
My buffalo ranch sauce
Toasted buns
Grab the buns (any bun you want will work), gently spread some butter on both buns, and lay them on frying pan at low heat. Now, while you're waiting get some things together to make my buffalo ranch sauce. You'll need a bowl, buffalo, ranch, paprika, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Just mix them together and of course give it a taste to see if you like it. If you're buns are done, grab your favorite plate, and smear that sauce on, and gently place a chicken patty on (and cheese if you choose to), and enjoy.
Of course if you have any sauce left save it!!!
