(Tech, you're as tough as ever!).
Jake, of course, was a strong fighter, but Tech broke free of his shackles with a thunderous growl and fell to the mat, breathing heavily. The cat stood up and looked at him in surprise.
‘Wow... He was tired, but his determination was not lost. How on earth could he do that...’
And then Jake was struck by lightning.
‘It's his love for Rev that gives him strength! Great cats, that's the spirit of a true fighter! Tech, I'm proud of you!’
Meanwhile, the coyote had risen to his feet. His chest glistened with sweat like the rest of his body, but there was determination in his eyes to kick this brat's arse.
‘You're a master of your craft, Jake, but it's time to finish you off,’ he said, looking at his opponent with a smirk. The cat smirked back.
‘Take your chances if you dare,’ chortled Clawson deliberately provoking his mate. He wasn't going to give slack, but he wanted Tech to understand: he could do a lot in the name of his love for the roadrunner and prove that their grandfathers' feud was all they had, and they, their descendants, were no longer hostages to the system. And Jake's words hit the mark.
‘Stop bullying, milk lover!’
Tech's angry roar seemed to make the walls shake. Without letting the cat remember, the coyote began to attack him, delivering body blows. Jake blocked them so as not to truly humiliate the canine, for not responding to them would only make him vaguely suspicious of something, which was why he had to resort to such a move.
‘You think I'm a weakling!’ ranted Tech, hitting Clawson's torso with his fists. ‘Hell no! I'm the strong one, I'm the might! No one dares make a laughing stock out of me!’
And he brought his leg up sharply, delivering a punch to Jake's jaw.
‘I don't think you're weak, Tech,’ thought the cat, losing his balance.
