Assassin's Creed: Revelations multiplayer beta is PS3 exclusive, starts September 3
PlayStation Plus and Uplay members get first stab at sequel's multiplayer
Ubisoft is giving PlayStation Plus and Uplay members an exclusive first taste of the Assassin's Creed Revelations multiplayer beta. The trial event is set to run September 3rd to 11th, and similar to last year's Assassin's Creed Brotherhood beta, the sneak peak will be for PS3-eyes only.
The beta will sport three maps - Antioch, Constantinople, and Knight's Hospital - in which players will be able to play four different modes including the new Deathmatch and Artifact Assault modes, and two carry-overs from the last chapter, Wanted and Manhunt.
Much like before, Assassin's Creed Revelation's multiplayer campaign follows shady Abstergo agents as they run, jump and stab their way up the ranks whilegleaning more about the people, places and histories they inhabit. This time around, however, players will learn more about the First Civilization and the origins of Abstergo, while also enjoying a deeper story, enhanced levelling system, and fancy new abilities.Find out what to expectwhen you strap into the Animus withour preview.
In addition to giving PS3 players something special (and potentially pissing off Xbox 360 owners in the process), Ubisoft also released its Assassin's Creed Universe video which offers a run down of the Assassin's Creed story so far.
Assassin's Creed Revelations is scheduled to drop from ledges and choke out PS3s, Xbox 360s and PCs on November 15th.
