Hello Alice!! I love your books!! They are all so funny and sexy!! I know you finished Caroline and Simon *sigh*'s love story with Last Call, but... is there a chance you write a little more about them? I really really love Simon *sigh* and I'd love to read about them making little wallbangers and Clive saying funny things about the new members of the family!! <3 Thanks for answering my question!! :-*

Since you are a reader yourself, do you ever see something that someone else has written and think "GAH, why didn't I think of that?" If so, can you give an example (I ask, but I wouldn't be able to - I don't retain that type of detail.) Also, can you give us a hint about where your next book(s) will take place?
Alice Clayton Sure, I mean who doesn't. I am a reader first. Always and I think that all of us see something and just think, "God damn that author was genius for doing ..." I admire so many authors and their abilities to weave an intricate story and draw us all in.

What do you think of librarians? Also, as a reader/author, how can you persuade others to read?
Alice Clayton I LOVE the library and librarians. In STL we have great, historic libraries and a dream came true when I was able to sign my books at my local branch. #GoLibraries!

do you use a writing program to keep your novels organized or do you type it in word. when you sit down to write, what are you opening up besides your laptop? not a trick question.
Alice Clayton Just plain ole' Word for me. I have a notebook or five for ideas but everything else is just done in Word. ;)

Would love to read more of Simon and Caroline. Any chance of that? I can only imagine how Simon will deal with being a daddy...
Alice Clayton Hi! While there isn't something in the cards right now for another Cocktail book, I'll never say never :)

Do you base any of your characters on people you know in your life? Also, when writing a scene that is super emotional, do you get emotional right along with your characters? There were parts in Redhead that I was all leaky eyed.
Alice Clayton Yes and no. I love, love, love to people watch. Grocery store, WDW, mall, wherever, whenever so I try and keep their banter and mannerisms true to life.

Leaky eyed, hmmm. Sort of? I definitely 'get the feels' when writing some of the weepy parts :)

Alice Clayton Hi! I'm actually working on something new as I type this! I hope to announce soon!

Alice Clayton Hi! While the answer is currently no, I can't say 100% that I'll never dip my toe into that pool again. Thanks for reading!

Will you be writing anymore books from the Cocktail Series? If so, will we get to see more of Chloe & Lucas? Really enjoyed the characters!
Alice Clayton Hi! For now Cocktail is done BUT I'll never say never 100%. Who knows what might strike by way of the writing muse.

Alice Clayton It's not Monica. The Cocktail Series is done for now and I'm working on something new that I hope to share soon!

Alice Clayton Thanks! For Redhead, for now it's done but I'd never say never. Who knows what could pop up in my brain for Jack and Grace

Where do you come up with these funny lines? " Is this where I shove you up against the wall and kiss you breathless then bang you on the floor?" You must be a snarky person! LOL. The Cocktail series are the best books I've read in a long time. Every book you write gets better! Keep up the good work.

How do you made for get the inspiration for Caroline and Simon?
Alice Clayton I was watching a lot of Supernatural and was swoony for Jensen Ackles. He, to me, is the embodiment of WALLBANGER :)
