Ambassador to a Monster: Sythyry's Journal 2

Rate this book
Sythyry was trying to be a reasonably normal enchantment student at Vheshrame Academy, except with a better romantic life. But a tremendously powerful creature named Vae has moved into the area, and the Duke of Vheshrame has appointed Sythyry to keep Vae under control. No chance of that! Vae can't even control herself, or stop herself from helping people in the most devastating ways possible.

Which throws the unprepared Sythyry into a war of magical extravagances, death, starting school clubs, embezzling trowels, retrieving enchanted adventurers, and other dooms.

It's not terribly good for grades or social life, either.

A thrilling read much longer than the original and much better I must say. The only thing that I have to say against it is the ending, which wasn’t the greatest, as it felt rushed and didn’t patch up any of the main conflicts and trouble in the story. Great book over all! I hope Strenata continues to seek what she longs for!

Same slice of life style diary as the previous, with the same caustic humor.
New adventures, including monster daycare and the trouble that comes with it, organization of the traff student life, getting prosecuted for *not* embezzling...
Vae in some aspects made me think of the astral dragons of mating flight (same author) : near unlimited power and little self-restraint. A combination full of promises...
Lots of fun, as the previous. Poor Sythyry, though... zie has no easy life :-)
