Esme:

She is on the run and doesn’t trust anyone. Her entire life has been nothing but pain and suffering, and she will not allow her son to grow up in that world. Or will he and his club step up to show her the real meaning of family?

Fury:

The only thing he wants in life is his club, a cold beer, and a woman when he feels the urge. Until he sees her. Esme and her son make him realize what he’s missing, and he wants them for himself. No matter what he has to do to make that happen. He doesn’t care about her past because he and the club will protect her. Except, he never expected she would fight him so hard. When he finds out why, he will prove to her that she and her son are meant to be his. Because when a Dragon finds his treasure, he doesn’t let it go. No matter who tries to take it from him.

I live in New Brunswick, Canada with my husband and our two dogs,
Remi and Sako (pronounced Say-co). When I’m not writing, I’m
playing fetch with the dogs, talking to my parents for endless amounts
of hours, annoying the crap out of my husband, or just enjoying life
with my friends.
Writing has been a part of my life since I was about 12. I started
out just writing short stories or silly knock-offs of my favorite shows
or movies. Soon, though, I realized just how much I loved to write.
How often my mind would wander and think of characters and where
they could go. They became real to me, and I would start to write. I
used to fill up notebooks and pads of paper when I got an idea. It
would be an obsession, almost, to get on paper. Then, when I was old
enough to have a computer, I started there.
Now, I’m 28 years old and I finally hit that button. The one that
I’ve thought about it over and over again for the past 16 years. There is
no greater joy, or fear, at realizing you’ve just accomplished something
that you’ve wanted to do for so very long. That is my greatest accomplishment
and I look forward to hitting that button on many more.

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: single mom; heroine in peril
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Pretty entertaining read. Lots of action and a bit of drama between the 2 MCs. Loved how the MMC was all in from the beginning with the mom and the kid. Will definitely check out the other books in the series!

I can't tell if I'm just in a bad mood or a reading slump but so much about this frustrated me. I did not feel the chemistry between the FMC and MMC and he just came across as a possessive bully who went caveman when she didn't listen to him. Which can work in romance if the FMC seems into it, but she doesn't. She's fighting him the entire time and he's not listening to her and I just wanted to reach in there and punch him. So far at the halfway mark, it hasn't even been 24 hours since they met and I hate when books are like that. Both MCs speak Spanish but it seems like a bad google translate job (I don't speak Spanish but the missing accent marks and other small things are making me think the author isn't a native/fluent speaker and if you aren't going to do it right, don't disrespect the language by half-assing it). Ugh, rant over. Read this or not, it's not the worst but it's just not for me.

Fury intervenes when he sees a boy getting picked on by a bunch of other kids. The boy holds his own but Fury decides he is going to take him to his mother. Esme is not all that happy her son got himself into trouble and when she meets Fury he steps up when she loses her job. Esme is weary though, trust does not come easy and when Fury stakes his claim, Esme's initial response is to take her son and run. Esme has secrets and when Fury uncovers them will he still be willing to protect them?

Another great read from this author. I really enjoyed Esme's story. Fury is a bit of a hot head at times but he also keeps Esme on her toes. Really like this series thus far and am anxious for the next book.

I liked how this one started out. With Fury coming to the aid of Gabe, then getting gobsmacked by Esme. I loved both Gabe and Esme from the start. Gabe for being a bit too wise for his years, Esme for not standing down for going toe to toe with Fury and others in the club. Esme's past was interesting, more was how all the guys learned of it, asked Fury if he was sure he wanted her, he said yes, then they all started planning for the war that was coming their way. It was all so matter of fact and they all knew the answers before asking Fury the question.

The big war was crazy! Of course the guys won, but there were some tough things happening, like what Gabe had to do. I was glad that he finally talked about it to Fury.

The ending to this one was good, nice to see things back to as normal as this crazy crew gets.

This book is my first introduction to author, Emily Rose. It has been a long while since I have read a MC book. Emily made me remember why I love these types of books after reading this one. I enjoyed this book so much that I have purchased the first book in this series so that I can read it while I wait for book three.

Esme and her son, Gabe are both baddies. They can hold their own with Fury and the rest of the MC. The things that Gabe would say had me laughing. There was a television show I used to watch a long time ago called "Kids Say the Darndest Things". If Gabe had been on that show, he would have slayed it with the things he would say.

The chemistry between Esme and Fury is smoking HOT. You could see it and feel it whenever they were together. I hope to see Karissa and Razor in the future.

I guess if you see any of my reviews for Emily's books, it's obvious how much I adore her story telling - and of course this book is no exception.

Fury, the big alpha who is a complete softie for his woman is definitely going to leave you wanting more of him. He's definitely book boyfriend goals. Then we have Esme, she's tough and beautiful. Exactly the type of woman to attract Fury. Their chemistry is off the charts, and this book makes for one hell of a read!

I love this series Emily has going on with the Dragons MC and I can't wait for us to hopefully get more installments!

Emily Rose does it again!

This is the second book I’ve read from this author and I’m definitely a fan.

Twice the Treasure follows the story of Fury and Esme. From the beginning, Esme is portrayed as strong, independent, tough, and you get a sense that she’s hiding something. She can definitely hold her own in any situation. Fury is part of the Dragon’s MC and is a typical bad boy with a soft heart, which I love. He’s a man who knows what he wants and that happens to be Esme the moment he meets her.

I love the relationship between Fury and Gabe. Gabe is one of those kids who really sees people for who they are and he instantly realizes Fury’s one of the good ones.

The portrayal of Esme’s frustration and resistance of Fury’s determination to make her “his”, is relatable. I mean, who wants to jump right into a marriage with someone you just met - especially when you’re on the run from very dangerous people and have to work overtime to protect your child? Esme really gives Fury a run for his money, until she ultimately drops her walls and lets Fury into her heart and into Gabe’s life, as well.

The side characters were amazing! They brought an element of humor that really brought the story together.

I received this as an ARC read and I’m so glad I did! I can’t wait to read more from Emily and meet more characters! This is the perfect quick-read dark romance.

*As with most dark romances, there are some intense subject matters, so always check the author’s website to make sure they’re the books for you.*

𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁-𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱, 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗖 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

Twice the Treasure by Emily Rose is the second book in the Dragon's MC series. The MC plays a huge role in the story, but it is a standalone.  The book is written in the third person, which isn't my preference, but from the first page, I was absorbed into the story.  Now, I had to pause a few times because several side characters had names beginning with R and I found myself confusing characters together.

This is an insta-attraction story at its core.  The entire story takes place over the course of a week.   I love insta-love stories!   The minute Fury sees Esme, he knows she will be his woman.  Esme pushes back, I loved her stubbornness and quick thinking.  She is on the run and knows how to take care of herself and "sneak" away.  I enjoyed Fury's frustration when he had to chase.  The chase doesn't last long when the MC runs a check on Esme and discovers who she is, and what she is running from.  To protect her, Fury moves her, her son, and her best friend into his house on the compound.  Once there Esme truly becomes his, and Fury immediately claims her son as his son.

I loved the side characters.  They brought an entertaining element to the book that I enjoyed.   If you love insta-love, quick-paced books and enjoy reading bossy, possessive bikers who fight to protect their women, or family in Fury's case, I recommend picking this one up.

Emily Rose is a new author to me, I enjoyed getting to know the Dragon's MC and can't wait for the next installment.  I didn't want to leave the MC and can't wait for Rogue's story.  I would have loved an epilogue.

Twice the Treasure KU, 232 pgs **.* 9/12/23 Fury & Esme

2.5 stars. This book started out with a little too much female bossiness/rudeness for me. Fury saw Esme once and claimed her instantly. I didn’t like that in either book. She has a 7-year-old son and they live together with her best friend Karissa in a small apartment. She was fired from waitressing at a strip club because she had to take care of her son, so Fury asked Rogue to hire her instantly as the car shop’s office manager. This all happened in the first chapter. I don’t speak Spanish, so I had to look up every word they spoke in Spanish which is a pain to me because it takes away from the story and the flow. Esme and her son are running and hiding from her past, which of course the club figures out. At 48%, I am having to force myself to finish this book. It is just like the first book, know each other a day or two then claim them and only talk dirty to them, no real conversations but fighting and talking dirty. I am highly disappointed in this book especially since the first one was so good. There is absolutely no chemistry at all between these 2 characters, just “you’re mine” and “no I am not”, constantly. Now they have allies and other club chapters when they didn’t have any back up in the previous book and now because of Esme they are dealing with a Mexican Cartel. 60% was better because it involved Savage & Royal, Steel and Harlow. I just don’t like Esme for some reason so can’t get into their story. The Cartel war was okay but predictable. After reading the first 2 books and them being nearly identical with a few story changes, I don’t think I will read the next 3 books.

If you love hot and sexy instant attraction romances with an equally hot alpha biker and a strong feisty momma bear, then look no further than Twice the Treasure, this story has all that, wrapped around a dark and dangerous MC storyline.

Fury and Esme's story is a fast and furious ride from the start, which takes place in a little over a week, and my goodness does a lot happen, twists turns, ups and downs, hot chemistry in and out of the bedroom, once you start Twice the Treasure, you just can't put it down as you wait to see what happens next, but throughout you don't get the feeling that the story is rushed, the timeline just works as perfectly as this couples coming together. From the minute Fury breaks up a fight that Gabe, Esme's 8-year son is involved in and Fury takes him to his mom, he knows he isn't letting this woman or young boy go, but Esme isn't having any of it, she is one tough woman and she isn't about to give up the independence she has worked hard for being taken over by a biker no matter how hot he is, but Fury isn't taken no for an answer and when Esme's past is finally revealed Esme realises she has found a man that has not only her back but her sons.

Esme & Fury + Gabe

I loved this book and the series so far. MC fans will enjoy the club's action and loyalty as well as the snark and tormenting of each other. The women are strong and make the guys work to get the girl!

Fury has always been a one-time with no interest in more. That is until the door opened and he saw her. That was it. She was his. Now all he had to do was convince her. Not an easy task. It wasn't so much she had a problem with the man--her past kept her from trusting any man. Keeping her son safe from the world they'd run from was her goal.

When he rescued her son her boss told her to choose her job and get back to work or leave, her son was the easy choice. Fury found a way to keep track of her. Get her a job on the MC compound.

He claimed her she just didn't know it yet. Would she trust him to keep mother and son safe?

Danger, action, loyalty, great characters, and plenty of heat. Not a minute of quiet. Her son may be young but he is smart and steals the heart of the whole MC. They are now part of the family and will be protected. However, the enemy after her is big in number and danger. Will they be safe and give in to be their own little family inside the MC family?

This is the second book in the Dragon MC series and wow this book pulled you in right from the beginning. Esme is a women on the run and working at a strip club until she has a falling out as family comes first. Fury is a man who see what he wants and takes it and he wants Esme as soon as he see's her. She starts working for the MC who play a huge part in this book and that makes it even better as you learn more about all the characters and how the interact. Fury becomes very protective over Esme and her son Gabe and will burn the world around them to make sure they are both safe. Esme is not so certain at first that he can protect them as they don't know what they are up against. This book moves along at a super quick pass and the action and twists give you everything you want. The two of them are so strong together and she has a backbone of steal. The banter between her and all the guys is hilarious and shows us that a woman can stand her ground with alpha males. Absolutely loved it. Emily Rose has given us another awesome MC book the girl has a gift for writing them. Well worth the read.
I was given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

I loved so much about this book!!! If you haven’t met this group be sure you grab Double the Trouble today.

Every single character in this book is amazing. Fury, this man had my heart and ovaries all a flutter! He has this hard alpha exterior but when it comes to his woman and son he is soft to the core. Esme is fierce- I’m talking girl crush material. She is tough and takes no $hit from anyone. Gabe is just an amazing boy, there really are no words- you’ll know when you meet him.

These two are like fire, the chemistry is off the charts. This author has a way of weaving the reader into the story and you’ll feel everything with these two- the good and the bad. I couldn’t put it down- I refused to adult until I read The End and that’s exactly what I did. I look forward to learning more about a couple of my other favorite characters.

this is Fury and Esme's story and it's an intense one!

Fury comes to the aid of Esme and her son Gabe and from the first glance, he wants her. And not just as a passing good time, heck no! He wants her forever, son included.

Nothings ever straight forward for the Dragons MC and Esme is no exception - she is running from a very dangerous past, and it's only a matter of time before it catches up with her!

I'm liking this series, the guys are all good guys and although when I first started the series I wasn't sure if I would like it or not - I'm really enjoying it!

They're straight talking, he decided he wants her so he tells her and is prepared to fight until she gives in! There's humour among the worry, I love when the women kick back, they don't need a knight in shining armour... They've got there cavemen on wheels - what more could you want!!?? 3.5/4stars

Emily Rose has wrote a work of art. I was hooked from the very beginning. Esme and Fury are two peas in a pod. The chemistry between these two is organismic. The way Esme and Fury go at each other is hysterical. There were so many times in the book that I couldn't stop laughing. The way Fury tells her that she's his woman, to the way Esme tells him no way Jose. There's also Gabe, he is going to be a heart breaker when he gets older. Let's not forget the baddest best friend ever, Karissa. Dam that girl holds nothing back. She needs a good man also. I do wonder what she's hiding from. I guess we'll find out soon enough. I can't wait until the next book. If you love Bada** MCs with a heart of gold that will protect their women then this one's for you.

You need to read this book 🔥🔥🔥

After reading the first book of this series I was looking forward to reading this one and I wasn't disappointed. I read it in a couple hours because I couldn't put it down. It kept my attention from beginning to end. I love how Esme kept Fury on his toes. I love how strong and opinionated Esme is throughout the book. She is a mama bear when it comes to protecting her son from their past and anything that could hurt him(I think he will be able to take of himself just fine). I hope Emily writes a next generation for this series as I would like to see how Gabe ends up. It was fun to see Fury go thru everything after the way he made fun of Savage in the first book. I can't wait for the next book in this series to see the next fall lol.

This book will suck you in from the very beginning. You’ll be flipping pages so fast, a true page turner.

Fury is loyal to his MC though not looking for love. Until he sees Esme, the game is on.

Esme, a single mom to Gabe, hiding from her own issues doesn’t need a man. She’s strong willed, protective, stubborn and independent.
Mlearning of why she’s hiding, Fury instantly wants to protect Esme, Gabe and her friend and moves them into his compound. I absolutely love Karissa!!!

The banter, chemistry and insta-love is amazing. This book will have you laughing so hard. Absolutely amazing!!! Loved all of the secondary characters as well!!!
Mathis is the first book I’ve read by Emily Rose and I will definitely read more!

This is the second book in this amazing series, and this is Fury and Esme’s story. Esme is a single mom who is on the run with her son, while Fury is happy with his club, a cold beer, and a woman when he feels the urge. From the moment that Fury sees Esme, he knows she is the one for him, and when her past comes back to haunt her, he will do whatever he must to keep her and Gabe safe and protected. This is a well written story which has angst, drama, family, friendships, loyalty, twists, danger, suspense, intrigue, humor, witty banter, tension, and love, which leads to an entertaining and steamy page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Esme and Fury

A great story with laugh out loud moments. Fury first met Esme when he took young Gabe after he was been bullied. On first sight she was his, she was fiesty, sassy and had a temper to match his own. He takes her to the compound after she is offered a job, however they soon learn who she is, and know trouble is coming.
Esme wants to leave but knows she has to take a leap and trust Fury with her and her son. Young Gabe is eight and the man of the house in his opinion, and trusts Fury with all his heart and at the same time warms Fury not to hurt his mum (lol)

This really is a must read book, its book two and its just as good as the first book, plenty of drama. im sure you will enjoy!!

I was lucky enough to get this as an advanced copy, and I must admit I was happy I did.

Gabe honestly made this book with his words. He was an amazing kid and stood up for his mama. Esme raised him right.

I won't say how wonderful Esme was because, at times, I just thought she was a bitch. Now was she a bitch for no reason - Hell no, and that is explained further in the book.

Fury holy hell was a big alpha who knew what he wanted. He stepped up to help with Gabe and didn't back down when Esme was being an ass.

This was truly a great book. I HOPE (hint hint) that Rissa and Razor get a book ;)

I'M SURE LOVIN THIS SERIES!

At first I wasn't quite sure how I felt about Fury. He's a big bad*ss alpha but he's also arrogant, possessive and demanding. So demanding I thought for sure Esme might just shoot him. Esme is a strong sassy bad*ss herself and she's a protective mamma bear when it comes to her son Gabe who's a total sweetheart. Now Karissa, Esme's best friend had me cracking up. Talk about a spitfire, she gave as good as she got from all the club brothers. Lol. At times the suspense got pretty intense and the angst had me on the edge of my seat. The way the whole club just welcomed Esme's and Gabe and Karissa in even knowing what kind of sh#t storm was coming with them was heartwarming. They way Harlow and Royal just busted in on Esme and Karissa and made them part of their girl gang was funny, especially when the surprises were revealed. Lol! I can't wait to see where Esme's and Fury's story goes .These two can sure bring the heat. I think Karissa is hiding something too. I think she may be running from something or someone too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO EVERYONE!

This book and series is a must read. The story is so well written. The relationship between Fury and Gabe is so powerful. The men are loyal, possessive, all alpha, but the love they have for their family is fierce and undeniable. The woman are strong and will stand up against anyone who comes to hurt their lives ones. You will fall in love with these characters and will leave you with all your emotions exposed. Emily Rose is brilliant and such a talented author. 🖤🔥🖤Fury&Esme🖤🔥🖤

Fury has met his match in Esme; she's on the run from her past. Esme is dead set on taking care of her and her son, but what she didn't expect was Fury. He's a hardened biker who claims not to want a woman of his own. Esme changed all of that for him. What do you get from two stubborn people who are fighting the love they both deserve? You get heat, explosion, and lots of fun times. This author did very well with this one; I could really see this series going far. You did a phenomenal job on it, author Emily Rose🖤🔥🖤

Beautiful Treasures

Twice the Treasure is book 2 in Dragon MC, I would recommend reading book 1 and getting Savage and Royals story first, as it will make it easier to understand a few things. Fury and Esme's story was interesting, it was beautiful mixed with a bit of drama, some angst, action & violence, insta attraction & love, and characters that made you laugh, cry and love with them. 8 year old Gabe (Esme's son) added am extra layer to the story, a cool kid that was way too mature for his age but still managed to have a heart of gold.

4.5 STARS

I read this in 5 shorts hours and I couldn't get enough of it. I loved every single second I read this book. Especially since it is a fast paced book and I love that in any sort of book.

Esme and Fury sure are made for each other. Fiercely stubborn, fiercely loyal and fiercely willing to do anything to protect those they love. And it showed when things when tits up for everyone.

I absolutely loved Gabe. For a young boy, he is very smart and aware of what's going on. Absolute crack up that he put Fury in his place, no matter what the circumstances were and it absolutely broke my heart when he thought that Fury wouldn't want him because of what he did. Fury really stepped up in that moment!

Again, absolutely loved this.
Would definitely read it again!

A chance encounter changed everything for Fury

Esme and Gabe are everything Fury didnt know he wanted and more. The heat between Fury and Esme is something most people can only dream of and spend a life time looking for, but after everything Esme has been throught its not easy for her to let go of the fear and mistrust. But running is all she knows and she'll do whatever she must to protect her son. I love how each book in the series is a stand alone but also connects each story. Im going to enjoy reading all of these books.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better..

Omg 🤯🥵 just when I thought I couldn’t love the Dragons any more than I already do. This book, so far, is my favorite. Esme is the ultimate Mama Bear and I absolutely love her.
As much as I love a good MC book, I usually don’t read very many on 1% clubs- but oh wow, Emily Rose has a way of making you enthralled with these hard and ruthless men when they are so protective over their women. Can honestly say, she has made me a life long fan and I am eager to continue reading the series.
