My professional thoughts:
Lethally smart. Filled with a cast of brilliantly realized characters, each entangled with one another in torturously delicious ways, The Atlas Six will grip you by the throat and refuse to let go. Olivie Blake is a mind-blowing talent.

The book is meandering and missing huge amounts of needed plot, character and magical system development. The glowing praise you give is honestly confusing. The characters are so barely fleshed out and at times annoy you don’t care what happens to them. This isn’t a ‘oh I hate this book’ because I wanted to like it. But it’s truly a terrible work of fiction across the board. It’s got fantastic ideas sprinkled in but they don’t have proper build up or pay off. This book reads like a pitch for a great tv series but with someone who filled in the blanks without having any idea how to put together a story
This book is awful. Objectively terrible. Tell me why Nico and Libby hate eachother other then just because the author tells you they hate eachother? Tell me more then 1 personality trait from each character that has zero depth.

do you know the difference between objectively and subjectively

Have you ever used the word "literally" to stress a point even though you didn't actually mean the true definition of "literally"?
don't think so but i have the fucking memory span of a goldfish, also you spelled "than" wrong, you wrote "then". that happened twice btw :)
I'm leaving comments on a forum. I'm not spell checking I'm just taking 2 seconds to respond to someone who finds it easier to be a troll about grammar THEN to actually defend a book. You should have called out my missed comma too.
Big fan of the fact im on chapter one and I said "Libby and Nicolas should fall in love" and then this is the review I see lmao
I've read quite a few bizarre or unfair reviews here, so I was happy to see this one & from an author I enjoy! I was really impressed by the originality of the storyline. And I absolutely loved seeing how all of the classroom discussions suddenly meant so much more as they all came together at the end. At the time, they were philosophically interesting, but I mistakenly thought they were "filler." What a fascinating fabric they all wove in the last few chapters. Loved reading your review!
