I'd give it a 3.5 but I'm rounding down bc certain things put me off. writing was beautiful, often made me emotional, but 1) the mention of Israel kinda ruined my mood for the entire second half of the book, and 2) I'm so over ppl naming their children after dead members of the family... maybe just a personal thing. i will say as someone who has a sister, the relationship of sisters portrayed - the love and frustration - was very very relatable.
