I read The Talia Shaw Series which haven't been published yet but the first 2 books were so so so good.
Three Dark Queens trilogy was great but an ebook, so Social Creature, The Cabin At The End Of The World, Her Pretty Face, Kiss Me At Christmas, The Exes Revenge, 1884, By The Forces Of Gravity. Haunted, After Anna, Twisted Truths, Lullaby Road, Killer Choice, I had a really good year of ARC's
So the arc I loved is finally published. I'd totally recommend it to you all. It is 18+ though.

Sewing the Rainbow: The Story of Gilbert Baker and the Rainbow Flag, by Gayle E. Pitman, shows kids how Gilbert did a Dorothy-Oz move from Kansas to San Francisco, where he was an activist for all the sparkly kids like himself.

Storytelling at its best - a new favourite! Once Upon a River by Diane Setterfield is mysterious and magic.

I really enjoyed both of these! This clever Czech detective has an appetite and wardrobe and disregard for protocol like Mick Herron's Jackson Lamb without the farts. Loved and understood (!) the Eastern European intrigue.
Graham Brack,s first two in the series:
Lying and Dying
4.5★ My review of Lying and Dying
Slaughter and Forgetting: Murder and intrigue on the streets of Prague...

Just enjoyed The Scholar by Dervla McTiernan. Our handsome young Irish detective Cormac O'Reilly is put back into action in when his girlfriend finds a dead body one night!

Depends. NetGalley is a great place but it doesn't work in my place so I don't use it. You can get arcs from authors on GR too. I got so many this way. There are Groups for that too. You can find them by searching them in the groups.

It's over-the-top adrenaline, action, and high-tech when Gregg Hurwitz brings Orphan X, aka the Nowhere Man, Out of the Dark and pits him against US President Jonathan Bennett.

How to Be a Butterfly by Laura Knowles and artist Catell Ronca is such a pretty, informative picture book that I hope it might attract some kids away from dinosaurs!

Local kids form a group called The Gunners. Author Rebecca Kauffman shows us how they grow up, still feeling guilty about how they failed a friend.
