For this, our 12th annual list of the best physicians in town, we once more put out a call to more than 15,000 board-certified doctors in the Houston area. The list was created in partnership with Professional Research Services following the methodology detailed below. After the nominations were tallied, Houstonia and PRS compiled a list of top vote recipients in each specialty, making certain that all physicians were currently certified by their respective medical licensing boards.
