Vulcar Warrener
The Vulcar Warrener seems to be a combination of two popular vintage Japanese cars from Datsun/Nissan. The front end, with its odd slanted fenders and headlight buckets, is lifted from the Nissan's C10 "Boxy Skyline" series of '68-'72. The back end, while appropriate for the Skyline, is also very reminiscent of the venerable Datsun 510 series, from '68-73. (Not too surprising or contradictory, since both vehicles came from the same manufacturer.) Strangely, Rockstar's own information refers to the Warrener as a Swedish vehicle, but there's nothing obvious about the vehicle to support that.
Both of these cars became successful in racing, particularly in rallying. The "Taped Headlight" mod is a little tribute to both of these cars' racing history. Both the Skyline and 510 are still popular today in vintage racing.
The Warrener belongs to the "Sedans" class of vehicles. The stock Warrener's front plate is crooked and bent, and selecting another plate does not straighten it. All of the available front bumper mods remove the front plate anyway. There are 20 different mod categories available. Many of the various styling mods allow you to build a Japanese Grachan/Shakotan style of street racer/drifter, while other mods, such as the "Grille Delete", "Front Trim Delete" and "Taped Headlight" options seem more rally-oriented.
