- A romantic escape into nature turns into the ultimate moment of reckoning when a husband and wife are trapped in a tent with a deadly snake. Unable to escape and with certain death looming, the tent becomes a heated confessional to a cataclysmic truth. Betrayed, the couple finds themselves spiraling into a dark and dangerous space of which only one can survive.
- The 'Angel Hope' of the title is a fictitious nun - a little like Mother Teresa, only much younger and prettier - who works at a fictitious hospital in the South Pacific. The third fictional element is a hurricane which destroys the hospital, triggering a charity campaign to rebuild it. Needless to say, there are no more plans to build a new hospital than there was a hospital in the first place. And equally needless to say, things begin to go wrong right from the start, with love and religion getting in the way of good honest greed.
- "The Battle of Pareo Rock" tells the story of Jimmy, an 11-year old European boy who goes to Africa with his mother, a busy executive charged with establishing a golf resort. However, on arriving they find themselves caught up in a war situation between rival indigenous tribes fighting over the land. To his surprise, Jimmy meets the talking giraffe, Seraf, at a busy market. Seraf tells Jimmy that he cannot easily avoid this tribal battle. But together with Charita, a poor African girl, Jimmy embarks on an adventurous and magical trip through the African jungle, where they must overcome many obstacles. Fortunately they have help, not only from Seraf, but also from a precious medallion. Throughout their trip, they discover that they can only achieve their goal if they truly believe in themselves and don't let anybody or anything get in their way.
- A gruesome and action-packed crime thriller. "Die Ontwaking" explores the psyche and motivations of a serial killer, Abel, owner of a small gallery specializing in African Masks and Art, who is also currently curating a collection of tattoos belonging to beautiful female victims, that will fit his Cosmic Journal theme. Ella Neser is the attractive, but inexperienced murder detective in charge of tracking down the serial killer who has been preying on the city's young women. While trying to prove herself to her more senior colleagues, she is also struggling with the break-up with her boyfriend. Abel is smart and the young detective struggles to make headway with the case. As more victims are found, an easy culprit emerges - a well to do businessman with a link to them all, distracting her from the real killer who is continuing his work. For his upcoming fiftieth birthday, Abel has a special gift in mind for himself - a new face : that of a beautiful young woman, perhaps that of a young female detective.
- Linden and Joseph go to South Africa to track down Faye. Once there they located Faye's address and broke in, finding photos of Lucas and Faye. A cleaner in the house revealed that Faye had been crying about 'Archie' and had been taken away by Lucas' henchmen. At the township, Linden and Joseph were held at gunpoint, but were eventually freed. The next day, Linden and Joseph found a DVD showing Faye with her sick son, Archie. They met with Faye and discovered her unharmed. She explained that she came to Cape Town looking for Lucas, who had taken her son for a risky operation. Joseph stepped in to assist the surgeons and saved Archie's life. Linden later revealed to Faye that he has a daughter he can't bear to see.
