- Three years after her husband's death, Stella (Kris Aquino) decides to marry Anton (Diether Ocampo), who was her great love before her parents forced her to marry Danilo. But after the wedding she experiences major hauntings that endanger her life and those of the people around her, and all the clues point to her dead husband. Feeling guilty about his death, she tries to save her family from the ghost's wrath. Along the way, secrets come to light and she's now unsure of who's haunting her and why.

Infused with actual documentary footage of the presidential elections, interwoven with dramatic scenes, the film deals with the realities of poverty for many Filipino families and the fact that it may take more than one man to change the country's history.
- "The Haunted" revolves around loving mother Aileen (Shaina), who is trying to rebuild her strained relationship with her husband Jordan (Jake) mainly for their daughter, Angel. Aileen is hesitant to welcome Jordan back in their lives, especially after his negligence caused Angel's accident that leaves her in a coma for two years. However, after realizing how devoted and remorseful Jordan is, Aileen gives him a second chance, just in time as Angel wakes up. Little does the newly reunited family know, their rekindling is the least of their problems as evil starts to lurk from the shadows. Aileen and Jordan's relationship will again be put to the test as the ghost of a scorned woman starts to haunt them. This haunting will not only challenge Aileen's will as a mother but also her conviction as a wife, when she fights the spirit who wants to claim her husband and child because of a dark secret in their family's past. Will a mother's love prevail and keep their family intact? Or will the ghost of the past finally put an end to their family?
- Val (McCoy de Leon) finds himself recalling his painful past after his mother (Valerie Concepcion) tried to reach out to him. Despite his resentment toward his mother, Val decides to have a fresh start with her. Meanwhile, Tina (Heaven Peralejo) deems it necessary to reveal to James (Mark Neumann) her true sentiments. Later, Tina gets into a heated confrontation with Val. In the middle of their argument, Val makes a shocking confession.

Soon, however, Onang (Lara Quigaman) and Tina (Heaven Peralejo) get the surprise of their lives after witnessing a shocking scene.

- Sandro (Epi Quizon) is willing to go through extreme lengths to get back his wife, Melissa (Sunshine Cruz), and impress his father-in-law (Johnny Revilla). In order to accomplish his father-in-law's realty development project in Southern Luzon, he needs to take Dodong (Lawrence Roxas) and Oryang's (Antonette Garcia) small piece of land. Not long after, Sandro convinces the people of Barrio Ibarra to blame the couple for a series of mysterious events that he himself orchestrated. As a consequence of his actions, an accident befalls Melissa and her twin sons. Meanwhile, Panying's (Malou de Guzman) life changes forever after discovering an unusual baby inside a cave.
- Panying (Malou de Guzman) decides to rear Iking (JJ Quilantang) despite her initial dread. Often bullied because of his unusual appearance, Iking, nevertheless, receives overwhelming love and support from Panying. Iking develops bat-like abilities as he grows up. Years after, he (Edward Barber) develops a close friendship with Sarah (Maymay Entrata). Soon, fate brings Iking closer to his twin brother, Mateo (Grae Fernandez).
- Iking (Edward Barber) confronts Mateo (Grae Fernandez) upon realizing that the latter was the bat hunter he encountered the other night. Raised by Zandro (Epi Quizon) to be competitive, Mateo vows to never let anyone step over him. Later, Sarah (Maymay Entrata) stands up to Mateo's bullish actions. Iking then defends Sarah, humiliating Mateo in front of their fellow students. Enraged by his defeat, Mateo issues a challenge against Iking.
- Panying (Malou de Guzman) and Iking (Edward Barber) meet Zandro (Epi Quizon) on their way home from the caves. Despite her initial misgivings, Panying is soon impressed by Zandro's generosity. Iking also witnessed how the engineer saved a mother and daughter from an armed robber. Unknown to the two, Zandro has devised a grand plan to take over Barrio Caliente. Meanwhile, Melissa (Sunshine Cruz) is surprised to come across Tomas (Michael Rivero) 18 years after her other child's mysterious disappearance.
- Despite Zandro (Epi Quizon) having the residents of Brgy. Caliente's favor, Panying (Malou de Guzman) remains firm in her decision not to sell her land. Because of this, he begins attempting to win over Iking (Edward Barber). His son Mateo (Grae Fernandez) also joins in his plans by trying to befriend Iking. But with Panying still refusing his offers, Zandro pulls a dangerous plan. In his wish to keep Brgy. Caliente safe, Iking is put into a precarious situation.

Infuriated by his plan failing, Zandro (Epi Quizon) demands his men to capture the bat creature. But Iking continues to play the role of hero and keeps the people living in his barangay safe from harm. This leads to a pouring of support for the bat creature, whom the people consider to be their savior. Frustrated with the positive attention the creature is receiving, Mateo (Grae Fernandez) decides to take matters into his own hands.
- Zandro (Epi Quizon) unleashes his anger on Mateo (Grae Fernandez) for ruining his plans in capturing the bat creature. Consequently, Melissa (Sunshine Cruz) tries to repair the rift between father and son. Meanwhile, Iking (Edward Barber) investigates Mateo's involvement in his attack despite being wounded. As a result, he discovers a shocking revelation that makes him spring into action. With the bat creature continuously escaping his clutches, Zandro tries to figure out its real identity.

Meanwhile, Iking begins to question the reason behind his powers.

As their fates finally cross, Oryang does not waste her chance to finally make Zandro (Epi Quizon) pay. Meanwhile, Mateo (Grae Fernandez) continues to recover from his wounds. Hoping to bring the bat creature to justice through the right means, Melissa (Sunshine Cruz) urges for Tomas (Michael Rivero) to continue his investigations. On the other hand, Zandro comes up with his own strategy to get back at the creature.

Unbeknownst to them, Zandro has successfully ruined Paniki Boy's reputation among the residents of Brgy. Caliente. Hoping to warn Iking of Paniki Boy's notoriety, Sarah (Maymay Entrata) tirelessly tries to get in contact with him. Upon his return, Iking is in for a shock when he faces the wrath of Brgy. Caliente's people. Meanwhile, Melissa (Sunshine Cruz) reminisces on her lost son as Mateo's (Grae Fernandez) birthday nears.
