PJ finds out that Morgane has been messing around with the Levasseur files and Commissaire Hazan, being pressed by her superiors, ask her to help them with the investigation and the disappearance of Jeanne Levasseur. While walking his dog, someone tries to kill Emilien Kerr, 62, by suffocating him with a plastic bag, but the concierge of his apartment finds him in the parking lot and the emergency services keep him alive although he stays in a deep coma. Kerr was a widower, a loner who worked as German translator, leading a calm life, but Alvaro finds that he had been set up. Apparently he had had dinner with his daughter Alexia, 29, ten years after his wife's suicide, of which she accused him. Alexia becomes main suspect, while another daughter visits Emilien in the hospital.

A man is taking a bath in a hotel room when a stranger in a mask forces his head and drowns him under the water. This is Morgane's first case as a consultant for Lille DIPJ, with Kadarec's disagreement. She was reluctant at first, but accepted the post, subject to the reopening of the investigation of Romain's, her boyfriend, disappearance, which Hazan supervises. The PJ discovers that the name of the decease was Benjamin Winckler, he was a regular in the hotel bar and that he was having an affair with Gladys Puger, a Doctor in her 40, who was the last person to see Benjamin alive and becomes the main suspect.

A car drives into the forest with two scared girls trapped in the boot. The day after, Florence Grangeon reports the disappearance of Laura and Juliette Sorin, her 5 and 8 year old daughters, to the DIPJ in Lille. She and their father, Franck Sorin, had joint custody of the girls and he apparently is also missing. Arnaud, the grandfather and wealthy owner of a luxury hotel chain, considers Franck a marginal follower of collapsology theories, trying to live on a eco-responsible farm. He is the ideal suspect in their probable kidnapping for his father-in-law would do anything to dispute the custody of his daughters.

The assistant of Fanny Mariani, veterinarian specializing in exotic animals, finds her dead on the floor in her clinic, the printer nonstop flipping sheets with the word "murder" printed on them. Although the coroner first favours natural death, Morgane suddenly realizes that the victim has been poisoned with a Phyllobates terribilis, a small yellow frog, missing from one of the animal cages. While on the inquest, Morgane asks her mother about Romain.

Alex Viniali, 46, divorced, estate agent and amateur football player, is found dead in a football locker room. The investigation reveals that he was also a member of a group of Lille hooligans, who had recently had a fight with a rival team. The body of Axel Maertens, 32, sailing and kitesurfing instructor and manager of the nautical club at Malo-les-Bains, is found suffocated with a rope on a beach, presumably by accident. Morgane notices that the knot was not tied by a sailor, such as Axel, which means it was a murder. A certain Jonathan, who at first declared to have witnessed the murder, finally confesses that he committed the crime, a situation that makes everyone feel relieved, but that Morgane and Karadec find hard to believe. They join forces to continue with the investigation.

The PJ attends to the murder scene of Pauline Garcia who has been run over and crushed by her own car. The team is happy to know that a witness may have met the murderer, but unfortunately they find out that she is blind. Pauline was an accomplished ice skater, selected to participate in the following Olympic games with the national team so the first investigations lead Kadarec and Alvaro to the ice rink where she used to train to interrogate her possible rivals.

Malik Oussekine is beaten to death by the police. His family begin a tough battle.

The Oussekines attempt to make themselves heard while the authorities try to exonerate the police.

A reconstruction is organised, giving the family their biggest chance to establish the truth.

1990. The trial of the two police officers accused of Malik's death finally begins.

Judge Carole Massard is found dead in her office as she prepares to deliver her verdict in a criminal trial. Subsequently, the investigators go on the trail of a possible revenge by the accused. Morgane, for her part, is depressed. Weeks have passed since Ludo left her and, furthermore, she has discovered that Roxane, her worst enemy and Karadec's new girlfriend, is increasingly playing a leading role in the life of the brigade. Nothing is going well for the consultant who has to face an investigation that is much more complex than it seemed at first.

After a difficult night, Morgane wakes up at Karadec's house and, during breakfast, the shame is more than palpable. Later, both are called to a new investigation: the body of an airplane pilot has been found hiding bundles of bills in his apartment. Finally, Morgane and Karadec have to solve the murder of this young man with many faces.

Morgane finds in the mall where she was buying the corpse of Séverine Moutier, a shoe saleswoman. She and the squad try to find out who killed the shop assistant. Commander Karadec is under investigation by Roxane Ascher, Internal Affairs.

Morgane, Ludo and the children have moved in with Gilles, who can't imagine how the roof has fallen in on them. Commissaire Hazan informs Karadec that Morgane is suspended until further notice and will be investigated by Roxane Ascher of the IGPN. When she is told that she can't help in the case of a woman in her thirties who was shot twice, Morgane gets mad. DNA reveals that the corpse corresponds to lieutenant Laëtitia Keller, a policewoman.

While practicing at the police station switchboard, Morgane receives a mysterious complaint from an old woman, who is found dead a few hours later. Finally, while she tries to get rid of her boring coach, Morgane tries to solve the murder of this woman who had announced her own demise.

The body of Valentin Bélliard, 17, is charred in his parents' barn and the investigation seems to be heading towards an accident although for Morgane it is a murder. Murder probably related to the fact that Valentin led a double life: a secret apartment, a mysterious girlfriend and another job. At the same time, Morgane is looking for a new home with Ludo. Finally, an attempt is made to discover the true identity of Karadec's new girlfriend.

Roxane and the brigade are in charge of organizing Karadec's surprise birthday. It is a very complicated situation for Morgane who has just realized her feelings for the commander. At the same time, in his next research, Morgane does not find a body but an empty coffin. The missing body belongs to Hélène Lecoq, a notable place who lives in a mansion with her family.

After a kiss, Morgane and Karadec's romance faces challenges as he stays with his partner while her ex, thought dead, has a new life. Morgane becomes a private detective, hired by Émilie to investigate strange events tormenting her.
