She originally wanted to be a ballet dancer and left school at 14 after
winning a ballet scholarship to attend the Dorothy Stevens School of
Ballet in Leeds, England. She later attended th Lewis Ballet Company in
London. She had to abandon ballet after a cartilage went in her
knee.
