Jim Powers lays a dinosaur egg in this crudely made Prehistoric adventure, replete with a low-budget stop motion dinosaur in the cast. Only a sci-fi/porn completist need watch.
With an inevitable verbal gag about "Gilligan's Island" tossed in, a trio of vacationers survive on an uncharted island near Hawaii after a shipwreck. The married couple Joel Lawrence and Leslie Renee (an obscure but physically striking blonde starlet) make love out on a hillside, while their pal Kyle Stone goes searching and is set upon by beautiful Ava Vincent, clad in Raquel Welch style cavewoman outfit.
He goes through a dumb "Me Tarzan..." routine with her until she laughs at him, revealing she speaks perfect English. Her parents were shipwrecked on the island, and have both died, leaving her alone with the natives.
Cannibals capture Joe and Renee, basting them and having a lengthy sex orgy ritual. Meanwhile, a dinosaur, poorly animated in the old Harryhausen style (but more like famed '50s amateur Don Glut) attacks Ava and Kyle, who escape to a cave. Last part of the movie is a jumble of random footage, making no sense and very hard to watch, as the orgy goes on mindlessly, while Ava is assaulted by Mickey G and another stud made up as non-English speaking natives, replete with comically dumb subtitling in English.
Worst element here is the editing, credited to QFrame. During each sex scene, there are cuts every second or two, mostly mismatched during the orgy. I suspect a professional film editor would find it impossible to sit through such incompetent editing, and it definitely gave me a headache.
Powers made a sequel that plays much better, and I feel sorry for starlet Leslie Renee, who deserved far better projects than this one to introduce her to the public.
