Stormy has a bad day as both writer and director with this mediocre Wicked Pictures release. The famous Adult actress turned director wrote many scripts for actor turned director Jonathan Morgan, and this one could have benefited from his comic expertise.
Roxy DeVille is unimpressive as the unsympathetic heroine, intent on having her boyfriend Derrick Pierce killed (hence the title) by one of her mobster daddy's henchmen, but his mob is in the vein of The Gang Who Couldn't Shoot Straight. Problem with the movie is that the consistently over-acting cast of players generates no laughs.
So we're left with sex scenes, well-performed but standard stuff. In terms of visual appeal, DeVille is upstaged by the busty actress playing her step-mother, Veronica Rayne.
Inexplicably, Stormy didn't write a supporting role or even a cameo for herself, rather disappointing as I, for one, kept waiting for her to show up and give us fans an eyeful.
