The Postables are always quirky, but this episode goes even farther than normal. Especially in the first half of the movie, the exaggeration for comedic effect was more than necessary.
The story surprised me. I was underwhelmed until I was overwhelmed. The accomplishment of their letter delivery mission had its usual very tender moment. But the highlight of the movie was the romantic moment the night before the scheduled wedding. Oh so sappy and I oh so loved it. This may be one of the all time great romantic moments for the Hallmark network and that's saying something.
One more story thread adds one more tender moment even if the circumstances were a bit out of the ordinary.
Is this the end? I hope not, but I'm afraid it might be given how long it took to bring this one out.
PS after rewatching The Truth Be Told:
It has been several years and many installments since The Truth Be Told (TTBT) so it is not surprising that it wasn't fresh on my mind watching this installment. In many ways this episode should have followed directly after TTBT. Watching this one without that reminder left me thinking that Oliver's despair was a bit overplayed. After TTBT, I realize that isn't true. In that earlier one, Oliver's fears of abandonment are heavily emphasized which results in the replay of those emotions in this one making so much more sense. Which makes that magical moment I mention above oh so much sweeter.
