The Escort Wife

... well I reckon just plain cold! Not even sure I would call it a dish. No pun intended as always and as far as stories goes, I reckon this may have a bit more "meat" to it (yes there is nudity, if that plays a role for you one way or the other, softcore in case you are wondering) ... than other erotic movies, but it is so bland and predictable I am not really sure that it is a positive aspect of it all.

Especially because it may cut into the the main reason most might want to watch this. Beautiful people aside, the chemistry between the two main characters is weird - but I reckon that is what (movie) marriage can do to you. When I saw the escort next door (it was quite obvious what her occupation is), I thought "at least they won't be so brazen to put the husband there" ... lo and behold ... but even that takes way too much time.

The fact of the main female actress becomes unlikable during the run time of the movie does not help either. It's a shame too, because we have reason to like her ... and root for her. Not because of her looks (though for some it may help), but because of how her husband is dealing with her ... laying it all bare then? Well not entirely and no pun intended.
